Live the experience with birds of prey! In this activity you will get to know Brave, Harris' buzzard. You will be able to see it sailing in the sky and coming directly to you on the glove in a place surrounded by nature.

What To Expect

The experience gives the opportunity to admire the flight of the Harris's buzzard and the steppe eagle in total freedom. In addition to admiring one of the most beautiful places in the world, you will discover the life of birds of prey up close and the basic techniques of falconry, the art of training birds of prey which is now a UNESCO heritage site.

We had a fantastic time with Davide and his birds of prey. The location was panoramic, easy to walk, and perfect for viewing the flight of his majestic birds. He is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to the animals and the visitor experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning in Tuscany.

First experience with birds of prey that I wanted to try for a long time. It couldn't get any better. David followed me step by step making me try both with a buzzard and a falcon both majestic. I hope you will soon be able to experience the same emotions that I experienced today with David and his wonderful birds of prey. Do it again!

It was my first experience with birds of prey, I was thrilled. David, the falconer, is a person who puts his soul into it and you perceive that proma everything for him is a passion. It provides, involving you many aspects of birds of prey. Last but not least the location, impossible not to appreciate. I can only recommend this experience. Renato.

My wife, sister, and I spent an absolutely gorgeous morning soaking in the breathtaking scenery of rolling Tuscan hills while meeting Davide, an experienced local bird handler. Davide was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable when it came to providing history or fun facts about the birds of prey under his care. The relationship he has with his animals is palpable, and plays into the experience altogether. We had the opportunity to meet two stunning creatures, Brave and Ivy, a falcon and Asian eagle. A notable part of the experience was that Davide will choose which birds to bring based on the weather and wind conditions expected for that day; giving even more reason to go back again! His assistant (I believe her name was Alyssa - forgive me!) provided photography for our group allowing us to be fully immersed in the handling experience. I've always been interested in falconry and when I came across this experience, I HAD TO try it. Davide was very knowledgeable and answered my many questions. The two birds we worked with were highly trained. I was able to feel like I had a hands-on experience that was still very safe. And the location couldn't be any better.

My wife and I booked the Falconry Experience in Tuscany and met David’s today. What a great experience . David’s had a gal on that he has had for a number of years . He explained its history and how he hit involved with all types of animals but in particular falcons and eagles. We got yo put on a leather arm sleeve and Daivide had the falcon fly off and then return to our arms. It was so cool. We also got to interface with an eagle which was a once in a lifetime experience. If you want to try a unique experience check out this great experience.
