What To Expect
Family Fun Adventure at Fota Island – A Woodland Experience Like No Other! Immerse yourself in nature with our two-hour Family Fun Adventure, set deep in the stunning woodlands of Fota Island. This unique experience is designed to bring families together through exciting challenges, survival skills, and plenty of laughter. What You'll Do: Survival & Bushcraft: Work as a team to build a shelter using natural materials. Learn the essentials of fire-making and safely toast marshmallows over an open flame. Discover the fundamentals of outdoor survival while bonding as a family. Find the Sniper (or Target Archery) Kids transform into woodland chameleons, dressed in Ghillie Suits, and hide in the forest. Your mission? Find them before they find you! (Don’t worry, the giggles usually give them away!) For older kids, we swap this activity for an exciting session of target archery, where precision and focus come into play. Conquer the Obstacle Course Work together to climb, crawl, and navigate our world-famous adventure trail. Test your agility, problem-solving skills, and teamwork as you tackle rope swings, balance beams, and tricky crossings

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic day at Fota Island Adventure. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made everyone feel at ease and ensured everything ran smoothly and safely throughout the activities. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and great fun, striking the perfect balance between safety and letting people enjoy the experience. The whole setup is very well organised, and the surroundings on Fota Island make it an even better place to spend the day. It’s clear the team takes real pride in what they do, and that makes a big difference to the overall experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, well-run adventure activity. We’ll definitely be back!

5.00This is our 3rd trip out to Fota Adventure Centre with our YMCA students. We've done both the Kabin Fever & the Adventure Side. Both are amazing and such a great activity for groups! It's a great team builder and nice to be in the outdoors. The staff are extremely helpful & make the activity so funny. Highly recommend to anyone! I've also done it with just myself and my young son. It was lovely way to bond for the afternoon.
