Fascinating drive because of our tour guide Barry’s expert, pleasant, friendly and entertaining commentary. He was also a safe driver. The scenery en route was gorgeous, the 90 mile beach sand dune sledding and beach walk enjoyable, and the experience of Cape Reinga was memorable. I highly recommend this trip!

We did a full day bus ride to Cape Reinga. Our driver (Barry) was the real prize on this trip. He is a local who grew up on the roads we were driving. His story telling was awesome, which combined personal experience with historical references. He was kind to every person on the bus. He was courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He even sang a Mauri welcome upon our arrival at the Cape, which is a spiritual ground for the Mauri. BEST bus tour I've ever been on ... ever.

A very nice north of the north tour. All the stops were stunning and it was better than I expected. The driver knew a lot about the history and the region and was an excellent guide in that manner. The only minus comes from also the unnecessary yapping that he did. The tour company also took care of the fact that I had a vegan meal as I had asked for that while booking.
