I’m a Londoner who’s worked in Soho for years and prides herself on her musical knowledge. However, Rachel showed me loads of interesting places and shared information I had no clue about. The tour flew by and we even had an impromptu celeb spot thrown in (hello Louis Theroux!). Ideal for tourists, out-of-towners and Londoners alike.

Absolutely loved my experience with Fashion Sounds LDN, such a unique and immersive way to explore London’s fashion and music history. The storytelling was engaging, full of insider details, and brought every location to life. I especially liked the way Rachel went out of her way to find that extra finishing touch of the David Bowie Afternoon Tea at the Cafe Royal. It felt like stepping back in time while discovering hidden gems I’d never noticed before. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a stylish, cultural twist on a walking tour!

What a tour!! All tours, everywhere, are exponentially improved when the tour leader has a good grasp of their subject and then shares it with a passion. This one does just that. If you want to see, where the Album covers of David Bowies ‘Ziggy Stardust’ or Oasis’s ‘(What’s the story) morning Glory’ were shot then this is the one but it’s Soooooo much more. In short, and as I was to find out, it’s a look at an area of London where in the 60’s a creative epoque took root, before flourishing into some of the most inspiring music and fashion style icons that ever exploded onto the streets. If you want to enrich your life with at least a tiny bit of some of the most influential and original artists that coloured the world and discover where the seeds of this synergy started, this is it !!!
