Designed for those taking their very first kiteboarding lesson and would like to learn to kiteboard at a discounted rate. The rate is discounted because you either provide a group or we combine you with others. This is a group rate lesson and we will combine you with others for groups generally 2 but could be up to 3 people.
Our instructors are trained in communication and use group dynamics to engage everyone in the course all the time. Switching the person flying the kite often, allows for your scope of vision to change and will actually accelerate your learning process. This also provides mental and physical breaks, while continuously learning.

Please note: What to bring as to get the most out of your experience we recommend the following:
Sun protection (sun screen)
Water to stay hydrated
Inexpensive sunglasses with a strap. Do not bring expensive sunglasses
Water shoes/neoprene booties are optional and not usually needed. Feel free to bring them if you are concerned
High energy snacks like a power bar, dried fruits, or nuts are always a good idea

Designed to be the very first kiteboarding lesson. We take you from no skills to your first exciting starts on the board all in one lesson! All gear included. Licensed instructors trained in the art of communication. Jet Ski Support Included. Learn from Kite Provo - founded by the very Pioneers of the sport of kiteboarding itself. At Kite Provo, Our Instructors Make the Difference! The first and largest kiteboarding school in Turks and Caicos, established in 2006, but with roots going back to the beginning of the sport itself. Times for this lessons vary daily.. Your exact time will be messaged to you AFTER you book. It must be low tide in order to stand and walk. Times change everyday, so we message you after you book the exact time. Itnerary: Use our Teaching Aids on the beach to accelerate your learning and eliminate wasted time in the water. Learn how to set up all the gear In the water learning kite control How to relaunch the kite Use of all safety systems Body Surfing Learn how to control the amount of power generated by the kite Waterstarts - your first exciting starts on the board!

5.00This was our second time traveling to Turks and Caicos and using Kite Provo kiteboarding school, and once again it exceeded expectations. Thanks to the instruction I’ve received, I’m now confident riding on my own and now learning tricks, which feels like a huge accomplishment. On this 12 day trip, my friend took lessons with Mati and Conner, and they were outstanding. The conditions were perfect, the beach was not crowded—the wind was amazing—but what really made the experience stand out was the quality of the instruction. Both instructors were on time, professional, and communicated everything clearly and effectively. They created an environment where we always felt safe, supported, and confident in the water. Their teaching style is encouraging, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They have a great way of breaking things down so it really clicks. With their guidance, my friend made great progress and even learned how to transition smoothly—such a big milestone. They consistently gave helpful, actionable feedback and made the entire experience fun and motivating. I can’t recommend this school, and especially Mati and Conner, enough. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to level up your skills, you’ll be in the best hands.

5.00Amazing experience with Matthew to learn kitesurfing. We took 10 hours of lessons at 2 and we were very satisfied with the progress. While learning a sport can sometimes be difficult and even shocking, Matthew was very patient and gave very clear explanations for progress. He was also very understanding to adapt the schedule when I was sick, which was very appreciated!! Moreover, the place is simply beautiful. A shallow "bay" as far as the eye can see, a heavenly place!! We recommend this kite school without any hesitation!

3.00Our group had a mixed experience with Kite Provo. The 4 of us were split across two instructors, Alan and Nic. The two folks with Alan had a great time--they thought his instruction was clear, he provided good analogies, and when the kite went in the water, he helped get the kite back up (which was challenging in the limited wind conditions we were facing). They generally had fun. The other two folks struggled significantly more. Nic's instruction was more laissez-faire. He gave high level instructions and we spent 80% of the time with our kite in the water--he'd watch us try again and again with little success to get the kite up out of the water. We ended up ending the 3 hour lesson about an hour early to come back the next day. Overall, I would recommend that people request an experienced instructor and I'd recommend Kite Provo to have people focus on the fun parts of kite surfing before they start teaching the extra-hard parts of it--getting the kite out of the water during low wind. Folks who worked with Alan are interested in returning, the other ones are not.

5.00I've seen kite surfers in several different vacation spots but never had the option to take lessons. Being in Providenciales affords a great chance to take lessons on the very flat shallow waters of Long Bay Beach. Kite Provo was great to work with prior to my arrival on island and Mark was a very informative & patient instructor for this group of 1st timers. This was a great experience & introduction to a fun sport.

5.00Great for beginners! Excellent instructor (named SJ) for 3 of us. She moved the fast track class (3 hours) along so that we each got on the board a few times in the last hour (a lot to learn that was all enjoyable before that!). Location was perfect with low tide, warm water, ability to walk out into the water & stay together.

5.00I had 5 two-hour lessons with the Kite Provo team in early December 2021 as a beginner kite boarder. Kite boarding can have a steep learning curve, especially for older guys like me. With their excellent teaching (and a lot of patience), I got up during the 4th session, and look forward to moving beyond beginner stage. I booked my lessons directly with them through their site. Here is the thank you note I sent: Dear Chris, Kristen, SJ, Mawi, Astro, and Jerry (and everyone at Kite Provo): Thank you so much for doing a wonderful job helping me struggle through being a beginner kiteboarder.
