Let’s take break at the nature by watching fireflies and silver leaf monkeys at kuala selangor.
We’ll head to Bukit Malawati kuala selangor from KL city centre which will take a around 45min-50min drive to watch Silver leaf monkeys, which are more friendly and tame than other monkeys. Believe me, you shouldn’t miss this experience. And also we can spend ample of time here to feed the monkeys and take beautiful pictures.
Right after that, we’ll be heading to get a quick local Chinese style seafood dinner at a fisherman’s village (not included in tour packages).

Sri Shakti Temple
The Temple is built in strict conformance to the prescriptions of sacred Hindu Vedas and Aagamas. For example, the layout of the Temple integrates three concentric corridors which serve to guide devotees in a tranquil procession that culminates in the Main Moolasthanam (sanctum sanctorum). Amongst its other unique features is a strikingly conceived island which has adopted a rare sculptural technique known as Thundu Pattirippu Pathroba Pathram. This fine and delicate technique is customarily not employed in current temple construction, even in India, due to its high degree of complexity, and, was inspired by the shrine of Sri Subramanyar in the Bragatheeswarar Temple Complex (Peria Kovil) in Tanjore, South India. Helmed by the iconic Shivasri A. P. Muthukumara Shivachariyaar, a renowned national and regional spiritual and religious Hindu leader, the Sri Shakti Temple is not just another place of worship, but one that will stand as a prominent Hindu landmark in Malaysia.
Bukit Melawati
As a historical place, Bukit Melawati has several remnants from the past that appeal to those interested in its history. A few leftover cannons and foundation stones attract visitors here for their historical values of Bukit Melawati . The Hill of Melawati is also home to the Silver-Leafed Monkeys and Long-Tailed Macaques. You can purchase peanuts from vendors around the area at Bukit Melawati and feed the monkey. Although the Silver-Leafed Monkey are generally quite gentle, visitors are advised to be cautious with the Long-Tailed Macaques as they can be highly mischevious. Just be careful when feeding them as they are considered wild creatures and can be dangerous when provoked.

This tour is absolutely wonderful. It is a unique experience, you cannot express what you feel there in the midst of that exuberant nature. My guide, Mr. Siva, is a very kind and very nice person, she made my day unforgettable, I will always be very grateful for her professionalism. Enterprise organizes your excursions in a very professional way. So long, thank you.

Amazing experience - our tour guide LG was fantastic and was happy to answer any questions we had. Visited Bukit Rotan, the Silverleaf monkeys at Bukit Melawati and the blue tears and fireflies at Kuala Sengalor (where I also had the best food for around £2.70GBP). Totally recommend if you’re visiting the area. Make sure to visit the Sky Mirror too!

Steven, our driver and guide, was very kind and kind throughout this tour. He picked us up and took us back to the place of our choice in KL. Very comfortable vehicle with water bottles, plugs to charge mobile phones... The temple in the middle of nature was beautiful. Feeding monkeys was great fun but be careful: feed only black monkeys and not chestnuts which can be more aggressive. Finally, the river cruise to observe fireflies: magical...

I had a great time! The fireflies were really cool, and the monkeys were so gentle. The temple was a hidden gem. Sorry, didn't even try to get pics of the fireflies; very hard to capture. I put my phone down and enjoyed the experience! The tour guide "Ben" was professional, friendly, and felt genuine about it. He also drove safely, and the car was really nice and comfortable. If you do the blue tears experience, make sure to drag your net in the dark shadow under the edge of the boat, otherwise you may not see anything. If I could give a small feedback, it's that the air freshener smell in the car was a bit strong. There was an automatic timer on it to spray. For people sensitive to perfumey smells this might need to be turned off. So glad I took this tour!

Great tour! We really enjoyed seeing the fireflies! They're so much smaller and "flashier" than the ones in the US There are thousands of them - tiny, like the size of a red ant. Mr. Ayr, our guide, was terrific and caught them for us to see in our hands. We also paid extra to see the "Blue Tears" bioluminescence in the river. TBH, it wasn't as dramatic as I expected, but still worth seeing. I'm glad we did it. (Unfortunately, the fireflies and bioluminescence can't really be caught on a cell phone, so no pics of those.) Our guide also bought food for us to feed the silverleaf monkeys, which was another really fun experience! The monkeys are wild, but are so habituated to human interaction that they literally will come right up to grab a bean from your hand. In some cases, if you're holding an entire bag of them, they'll crawl up on you to get their treats! One other point worth noting: Mr. Ayr has got the fanciest car I've ever been in! Super comfy ride that made the drive out to the river very enjoyable despite traffic snarls and drizzling rain! ;o) The whole evening was great and we enjoyed the boat ride as much as seeing the fireflies and bioluminescence. Thank you to Mr. Ayr for a great night out in KL!
