Experience the beauty of a rafting trip along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers, a short drive from Moab. Seemingly untouched by civilization, the landscape of stunning red rock canyons cut by the Colorado River provides awe-inspiring vistas throughout the day. Between thrilling bouncy rapids, you can swim, take photos and listen as your guide shares informative commentary about the ecology, wildlife and human history of the region. Choose either a half-day or full-day trip and enjoy an incredible rafting excursion for the whole family.

With various departures during the day at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, the half-day trip can fit into most schedules. Bring the whole family on a fun-filled half-day Colorado River trip that runs about 7 river miles (11 km) with fantastic scenery and moderate rapids. Noon departures include a lunch by the riverside.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking; minimum weight requirement is 50 lbs (23 kg)

Inflatable kayaks are available upon request at no charge, please provide the request in the special requirements field at the time of booking

Please note, prior to departure, all travelers will be required to sign a liability release

Minimum age is 6 years (minimum 50 lbs)

It is recommended to bring: Sturdy footwear (no shoes like flip flops/crocs!), quick dry clothing, spring or fall rain suit, swimsuit or fast drying shorts, sun screen, lip balm, hat and a camera (preferably waterproof)

This river trip needs a minimum of 4 individuals to run. If your trip does not meet the minimum the day prior, you will be offered other tour options or get a full refund (Another option is to pay for the remaining fares)

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Very well put together trip. The river was a chill float with a few fun rapid sections. A great family atmosphere. The guide (Will) was smart about the history of where we went and made a it a good time. I highly recommend doing this while visiting Moab.

This was a great rafting trip with kids! Michelle was a great guide, very knowledgeable and informative and great with our kids. The trip was relaxing, the rapids were small and did not feel dangerous, which was perfect for our family. Highly recommend.

Marvellous hike and well worth the effort, it starts off fairly steep but levels out after the first mile, the scenary is spectacular.

Fantastic trip down the Colorado River. We were picked up at our motel and drove along with our guide and a driver up to the starting point of the tour. We had a great guide who told us exciting history from the area.

Trevor was amazing. He kept conversations going between all of us so naturally that we felt we were friends the whole trip. The views and experience of floating down the river were memorable. The staff at the office were friendly and easy to work with. Definitely book with them!

It was a very windy day and we almost cancelled but our guide encouraged us so we went. Eli was, by far, the best guide we’ve ever had. Energetic, great sense of humor and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend the company and our guide

Lexi and Eli were our guides and we couldn’t have asked for better!! They were so positive and give off the best energy. I was expecting the tour to be a little more rough but it was more on the relaxing side. It was so beautiful flowing down the Colorado River.

This trip should have been cancelled. The weather was terrible (heavy rain and the temp dropped from 73 degrees into the 50s with lightning during the trip, which was the biggest concern. No regard the safety of the people on the trip. The river was so low that we were moving at a ridiculously slow speed. Advertised as class 3. The participants do not paddle, which made it even more boring. The guides on the raft did not have the equipment to load the raft back on the truck, so asked the participants to help lift it. Since we were all freezing from the wet/cold, that was a terrible way to end the trip.
