This is the private five days hiking tour including both off the main path and mainstream destinations. Guests will spend two nights in a very remote Khevsureti region and two nights in Kazbegi/Stepantsminda town. Khevsureti is a very remote area with poor roads and very beautiful nature while Kazbegi is the number one destination in the whole country due to the views on 5000 meter high Mount Kazbegi. Transportation will be done with a nice Suv while the guide will be a English speaking professional with a long term experience in tourism industry. Prices are indicated per person in double rooms.

Abudelauri lakes
On this day guests will head to Roshka village from Tbilisi. After getting to the village guests accompanied with the guide will hike to Abudelauri lakes. Hike one way will take nearly three hours. If guests' fitness level is ok they will be able to see all three lakes. At night they will stay at one of the guesthouses either in Roshka, Korsha or Gudani.
Gudani - Shatili - Mutso - Ardoti - Gudani

Shatili
On this day guests will head via Datvijvari pass first to Shatili then to Mutso, after Mutso to Ardoti and back to Shatili, Gudani, Roshka or Korsha for an overnight stay. Mutso is a very nice village with a very beautiful Fortress. Guests will hike for half an hour to get there. After Mutso hike accompanied with the guide they will head to very remote Ardoti village where guests will enjoy very beautiful views, have a chance to chat with locals and opportunity to buy very high quality honey.
Shatili - Ananuri - Kazbegi

This will be a very long day due to a long drive from Shatili via Datvijvari pass first to Ananuri and then to Kazbegi. On this day guests will visit Ananuri Fortress, so called "Friendship Monument" and then will chill at the hotel and enjoy the views in the evening. Owing to the long drive guests will not hike on this day.

The fourth day of the tour will be dedicated to a hike in Juta gorge. Juta village is very often described as Georgian Dolomites due to the beautiful range located there. The hike to the mountain range is very beautiful and is of moderate difficulty. The hike one way takes two hours and on the way back guests can drink coffee/tea at the Fifth Season cafe and enjoy the beautiful views.

Gergeti Trinity Church
On the last day of the tour guests with the guide will hike to Gergeti Trinity Church which takes two hours one way. This is an easy hike and on finishing the hike guests along with the driver - guide will leave for Tbilisi. They will be taken to the drop off place chosen by them.

5.00Zviad flexed the tour into the four days we had available and we all had a great time. The scenery, daily hikes, food and overall experience was absolutely brilliant. Zviad was very knowledgeable on many subjects, managed the tour professionally being punctual and flexing to our needs throughout the tour. The range of food he provided gave us a really good insight into Georgian cuisine. The accommodation in Stepsminda had awesome views and the accommodation in Gudani gave a real insight into mountain living with great food. Thanks for a great few days and I would highly recommend Travelist.
A rare option of visiting the Khevsureti and Kazabegi region in one go

4.00The part of exploring Khevsureti region is wonderful. The short hike to the 3 Abudelauri lakes is just right (instead of the more demanding route from Juta). The guesthouse in Gudani is a good choice, decently clean with good food, but remains equally raw and wild to enjoy the nature. The visit to Shatili, Mutso and Adori village are all amazing, but a bit more hiking is even better. For the more touristic Kazbegi region, the logistics tend to be more tourist-inclined and hence less naturally bound. The view at the Gergeti Church is of course astonishing, but perhaps the hike can also be extended. With the flexibility of a private tour, it may be possible to adjust the nature, distance and demands of the hike according to the participants. For example, even a day hike to the glacier can be an option. The choice of Trusso Gorge is truly remarkable, with the Abano Lake being the highlight. Again, there could be more flexibility to explore the valley with one night of camping or the guesthouse in the valley (as shown in the Google map that it is possible). Overall speaking, the idea of exploring the 2 regions (with very different styles and views) in a single private tour is good. Zviad is so experienced and knowledgeable about the country and the region, and speaks very good English that can communicate well. Perhaps he can ride on the advantage of the flexibility of a private tour to make more suggestions on different options and alternatives for the hiking so that the participants can make better informed choice (as we as a first-time visiting guest generally have no idea on what to expect). Finally, perhaps the private tour will be more perfect for at least 2 guests sharing the price. It may be a bit expensive for a solo traveler.

5.00Khevsureti is a very mysterious region and has awesome views. It is super remote with bad roads but the car was suitable for roads like this and Zviad drove very comfortably. The guesthouse was simple but clean and the host lady cooked awesome food. Personal thanks to Zviad, who is the company owner and we’ve been lucky to have him as our guide.

5.00Strongly recommended. The tour was a little bit changed according to our wishes as we were in Georgia not the first time. We choose the guesthouses so we were able to try domestic tasteful food. Unforgetable expirience. Zviad drives very safely. English language just perfect...and so on, so on... :-)

5.00One of the best hikes I have experienced. Abudelauri lakes - is a must see place. Views during the tour were awesome, guesthouse was basic - but there is no choice up there. Although, the food at the guesthouse was super tasty.

5.00Zviad organized Kazbegi tour as well as Khevsureti tour for me and my family. Khevsureti is a very remote region with very bad roads. We visited very remote Ardoti village as well and stayed at Ardoti guesthouse for two days. The views from the guesthouse were special. This is definitely an off the beaten path tour and totally worth the difficult five hours drive.
