5.00We had an incredible fjord tour experience, made truly special by our fantastic guides, Storm and Nelson. Their energy was infectious from start to finish, and they created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the trip. Our kids had an absolute blast with both of them — they were engaging, patient, and made the experience exciting and memorable for the whole family. At the same time, they were incredibly attentive and thoughtful with my mum, taking extra care to support her in the thick snow where she might otherwise have struggled. That level of care really meant a lot to us. The photo opportunities were absolutely amazing — they knew exactly where to stop for the best views, and we came away with some of our favorite photos from the entire trip. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned and unhurried, allowing us to really soak in the beauty of the fjords. The bonfire was a real highlight — warm, cozy, and such a memorable way to experience the landscape while enjoying great company and stories. It wasn’t just a tour; it felt like a shared adventure. Highly recommend this fjord tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Storm and Nelson as your guides. Truly a standout experience!

5.00The fjord expedition was great with friendly guide Kristen. She brought us to scenic spots of fjords and we took lots of nice pics. Even though polar nights gave us limited brightness, the views of the fjords are unforgettable and truly have their own beauty during winter time. Thanks a lot for the great trip, and your heart warming self-prepared lunch and hot drinks !

3.00Great guides for the 2/3 tours selected. Nelson and Greta were knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful, experienced, and welcoming. Would have rated this visit with Artic a ‘5’ were it not for their Management who were inconsiderate, callous, and plain excessively greedy. I informed Mgmt 2 hours after the official ‘cancellation’ period I needed to cancel my 3rd Tour. Why? Because I had a headache resulting from falling backwards, hitting my head on the ice, the previous day. This, while assisting the Artic Guide Group hauling THEIR Reindeer pelts up/down an icy drop to THEIR planned luncheon around a fireside. But no, Management said rules are rules. What a bunch of crap. Guarantee, there will NEVER be a next time with Artic Explorers.

5.00It was a great time. Snowsuits and boots were there. Nelson was very nice and really put himself in the show while taking pictures. The dinner around the campfire was a great conclusion.

5.00Absolutly the Best Tour possible. Our guide Nelson made the Tour live and interessant. We went in a small group . The pefect Tour. Clothing and boots inklusive. We hat a great driver Bella. Thankyou . The roads were not easy and you did a great Job. Thank you Nelson you made the Tour lively and Fanny with Lots of Info. I can only rechnen this Tour a very special time.

5.00The tour was wonderful, one of the best tours we did. The experience of getting in touch with nature around Tromsø was wonderful. Even more equipped with thermal suits, which provides an even more comfortable experience in relation to the low temperatures (if playing in the snow without worrying is very cool). The guides Nelson and Storm were exceptional. I thank the company Artic Explores for providing us with this unforgettable experience.

5.00The fjord tour around Kvaløya was incredible! We didn’t have the best day to start with as the visibility was incredibly poor in and around Tromsø, however, our guide Nelson mentioned there was a saying to wait 10 minutes if the visibility was poor and this couldn’t have been more true! Such majestical landscapes with a really friendly and informative guide Nelson, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone heading to Tromsø!
