5.00This was an absolutely fantastic tour with beautiful views. I could sit and stare at the mountains for hours. Although I didnt hold out much hope for great sights because the skies were grey and it was raining when we left. But even in the rain the fjords look stunning. And our guide Nelson had checked out the forecast and worked out where the sun would be. I couldnt have asked for a more considerate and interesting tour guide in Nelson. I thoroughly recommend Arctic Explorers.

5.00Tha fjords tour was the highlight of our trip to the Arctic, we arrived by cruise ship and the booking process and our questions about the time for return to the ship was dealt with promptly, the communication process was brilliant. The trip itself was exceptional, beautiful scenery, a bit of adventure, fantastic lunch, brilliant driver and absolutely incredible guide, Nelson.... What a day we had with a lovely bunch of passengers. I would recommend this trip and arctic adventure in a heartbeat and will certainly be booking another trip with them next time we visit Tromso in June 2027.

5.00The Fjord tour with Nelson was really lovely; he knew the nicest spots and had a lot of knowledge about so many things. The tour was organized very well; Arctic Explorers was very communicative. We have made splendid memories in Tromso, doing Fjord tour, Reindeer sledding, Dog sledding and a Northern light tour. Amazing environment, over there

5.00We had a fantastic experience on the Fjord Expedition with Arctic Explorers. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, selecting the most significant fjords, those that best represent the history, geology, and origin of these incredible landscapes, in addition to the unique charm and magic of the winter fjord scenery. Every stop felt meaningful as well as breathtaking. A special thank you to our guide, Magdalena, incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile. She handled even the most complex questions with competence and enthusiasm. At one point, I showed her a stone and asked about its nature; without hesitation, she sent a photo to a geologist friend just to satisfy my curiosity. That level of dedication truly impressed us! She also took stunning photos for us and instantly became friends with my 8-year-old son, making the experience even more special and memorable for our whole family. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a well-organized adventure enriched by a passionate and professional guide.
You can't fijord to miss Nelson's tour!!

5.00We had so much fun! Believe the hype, Nelson is the best. He'll tell you that the weather changes every 5 minutes but I think Nelson controls the weather with his passion & positivity. Shout out to our driver Eric! Drives like an angel...sings like one, too!! Be sure to ask Nelson for his former housemate's cinnamon rolls recipe. It's the best, just like Nelson & Eric!!

5.00Beautiful tour, great spots approached - like from the picture book. Sufficient time for photos, even if time passed far too quickly. Small and emphatic group.But also had good luck with the weather, guide Magdalena was very great!

5.00FANTASTIC tour - from beginning to an end. Logistically, everything was on time and very easy to navigate. We were also provided with clothes and shoes to ensure that we were warm. Magdalena was a phenomenal guide: friendly, knowledgeable, genuine, and really excited about everything we saw. It was clear that she truly enjoys what she does and has an appreciation for nature. She was also very personable and caring. We saw breathtaking views of the fjords and had plenty of time to explore each location. Lunch was warm and filling… in the hot chocolate plus cookies at the end were a nice treat. A few hours after the tour ended, Magdalena posted some of the pictures she took using her professional camera! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour.

Our guide Nelson was an absolute gem, so passionate and caring. And our driver Erik was a great driver! It’s a day we will always remember. Do not hesitate to book with Arctic Explorers, the best!
