This was one of the standout experiences of our time in Auckland, and a big part of that came down to our guide, Laura. She was exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both the city and Māori culture. The way she shared stories and context along the way really elevated the whole tour. What impressed us most was the variety and quality of the food. We visited a range of restaurants and specialty spots that we simply wouldn’t have discovered on our own, and every stop delivered. The portions were generous, the produce was top quality, and there was a great mix—wine, gelato, cheese, seafood and more. In fact, we enjoyed one of the venues so much that we booked dinner there on the spot while still in the middle of the tasting—which probably says everything. The tour itself ran seamlessly. Laura’s experience showed in how smoothly everything flowed and how well we were looked after at each of the five stops. It felt relaxed, well-paced, and thoughtfully organised, with plenty of opportunities for breaks when needed. Having been to Auckland several times before, I wasn’t expecting to discover much that was new—but this tour proved me wrong. It gave me a deeper appreciation of the city and introduced me to places I’d never have found otherwise. Overall, excellent value for money and something I’d highly recommend.

Laura was our tour guide and we had an amazing time! It was my birthday and I had the best day. Laura knew a lot and even gave some good recommendations for the rest of our time in Auckland. The food during the tour was amazing. We had so many different cuisines. We absolutely loved every second of it.

“Kath” gave an excellent tour. Great knowledge of Auckland’s history and she was able to answer all our questions. Great food as well. However, she was very hard to hear. Perhaps she may want to consider a hands-free microphone to amplify her voice while outside.

Kath was great guide and full of knowledge about the city and our food. There were 5 stops at locations that, with more time in the city, I would go to again

They are number 1 for a reason! We had pleasure of tours with both Kath and Bruce and gig to meet Ellie as well. This is a company that takes not just good food but caring about NZ to heart. They were respectful of dietary concerns and shared more than just food passion with us. Amy tour with them will be great and we already look forward to tour with them next year in Dunedin!

Alex was both personable and knowledgeable about the Auckland food scene. Each stop the opportunity to try something different and delicious. My favorite were the dumplings!
