You get to see a lot of great art but it was a bit rushed. Our guide did not show up and we went to the Accademia without a guide. We met up with the replacement after that but that may be why it was rushed. We seemed to be trying to make up for lost time.

This tour was not what it says it is it should say a day of exploring Michael Angelo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Michael Angelo and it was like a history lesson we first went to the Academia, the tour was not of the gallery but we stood still in the first room for over 30 minutes learning about Michael Angelo and how he sculpted the David and the scale of it. We weren't allowed to look at any of the paintings in the room but the two he showed us and we had to follow into the next room where the statue was he went through each sculpture very slowly. When we got to the David we walked around it and then we had to leave we couldn’t go into any other room or even the gift shop. I asked the gallery security if we could come back to enjoy the gallery and he said we would have to pay again. We stopped in front of the Duomo for five minutes then walked to the Mercato square where the carousel is and continued to walk to the square where the Uffizi and had a one hour and 30 min break before the next part. At the Uffizi we only went into certain rooms and again he talked about Michael Angelo and the David. Thankfully after we could go through all the other rooms at the Uffizi.

Got to see many of the main sights in a not too hurried format. Went right into the Accademia but had an hour wait for the Uffizi.
