There was some confusion about what this experience offered. Most people on it didn't realise we'd still have to queue in the long (free to enter) line. That said, our guide Julio was brilliant!- the time spent in the queue went super quickly thanks to his constant stream of facts and jokes... He was brilliant and getting information across in a way that had everyone laughing and smiling. Whilst we still entered via the normal queue that wouldn't cost anything, you are effectively paying for the guide to bring the experience to life, something that Julio absolutely nailed!..

I thought the outside was more beautiful than the inside . The outside has gorgeous carvings and the inside is more plain, but does have some paintings that are gorgeous. The frescos above tge alter are breathtaking. The dedication to God of the builders was so intense...

The tour guide lady was excellent and spoke fluent English although she is born & bred in Florence (Patricia) The Duomo is stunning and again our guide told us about the 24 hour clock etc The dome is amazing though far too high for me to climb up!

It was very interesting but I have a hard time standing for that amount of time. Julio was very interesting and informative.

This experience says “timed entry” but in reality you stand in the same line as the free entry, which is about an hour long line. Save your money and just stand in line, it’s the same thing. I hope I can get a refund for this misleading experience title.

The Duomo is so spectacular, never disappoints. Our guide was very informative and extremely patient. We were there in Labour Day weekend and it was a little intense. She was consistently challenged by others and was always courteous and patient. We had a great visit.

Reserved the entry to the Dome through Viator with a live tour guide, Julio. He made history come alive with his vivid story telling way and open approach. Would highly recommend!

Our excellent guide was very knowledgeable, and is that is what made the experience so enjoyable. The meeting place was easy to find. We only booked on the morning of the visit, which was an easy process.

BEWARE: This is NOT a skip the line pass. As far as a scheduled time it just means whe the tour starts. We had to stand in the main line for 45 minutes just to get in. THE GOOD - Our tour guide was amazing. She was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the Duomo and Florence. If we did not have her talking to us in line, I would have walked away. Seriously, she was awesome. The inside the the Duomo for the most part is just meh. The inside of the dome is amazing with five rings of hand-painted frescoes. We did not do the climb to the dome so we were only inside for about 15 minutes.
