Marco was very knowledgeable, but also very condescending. Whenever someone asked a question or didn’t do exactly what he wanted the group to do, he would embarrass you or call you out. Also, climbing the Duomo should be first in the tour while it is cool, then the visit to the museum to see the statue of David. Climbing in the heat was very hard and once you make it to the top you are rushed back down. More than 5 minutes is needed to enjoy the view. The Duomo portion of the tour felt very rushed. Finally, if you are claustrophobic, this tour may not be for you, the staircase is very narrow, one should also be in descent physical shape.

The tour was so much fun as we got to see the best parts of Florence. Our tour guide Jade was so lovely and engaging. She had so much knowledge about the city, even after the tour was able to help us and others in the group with food and shopping recommendations.

Our guide was excellent and gave a wonderful explanation of the process and history of Michelangelo’s David. The climb to Brunelleschi’s dome was taxing (had to take frequent rest stops) but the view was spectacular.
