If you chose the option, Brunelleschi’s Dome requires climbing 463 steps, with no lift available.
While you choose the option, note that the dome climb is strongly NOT recommended for people with cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, and pregnant women.
Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts above knees are not allowed inside the cathedral
Backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.
This tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.

5.00Our guide showed us historical perspectives and artistic styles that we never knew existed. It was very interesting. We started at accademia and had a short walk to the Duomo. The tour of the old church, predating the current one and burled underneath, was very cool. Then the dome climb was astounding! You gotta do this.

5.00The Dome was amazing. David was stunning. My wife has been wanting to see him for years and was awe struck when we got to see it. Our tour guide had so many cool and unique stories about Michelangelo that it helped bring to life the story and time he made David.

1.00This company is horrible. First, they changed our tour time to begin 1.5 hours earlier. I agreed to the change but was not happy about it. We were on a cruise which meant we had to take the train into Florence from the port. Upon arrival at the port, the train schedule would not get us to Florence in time for the tour. The taxi driver would not drive us 2 hours, even though we told them we would pay the high taxi fare. I contacted the company directly and explained our situation. I asked if we could join the tour late and they said no, that is not allowed. I asked if we could take a later tour that day since I saw on the app they had availability and they said no. They refused to refund my money. They would not even agree to a partial refund. I explained that they changed the time and we could have easily made our original time therefore this should fall on them. They still refused. This company is horrible. They told me the cancellation policy is 24 hours prior and they make no exceptions. This company puts policy over customer service. Do not book with them.

5.00History & beauty combined in this tour. Eleanora was our guide & she was incredible. Very knowledgeable as she was born & raised in Florence. First the Statue of David is as impressive as you would think it to be. Eleanora pointed out details in the statue that I probably would not have noticed. Then came the climb of the Duomo dome. 463 steps may sound intimidating but was really not as bad as anticipated. Once up top the view is incredible. Thankfully we had a beautiful day & the view was breathtaking.

5.00We got lucky and had just the two of us and our tour guide for our group. Leonardo was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He provided immense historical background at each location as well as recommendations to make the most of our stay. The itinerary was exactly as listed. While we would have enjoyed more time at each location to view and absorb the art, the tickets provided granted us access to return throughout the weekend to spend more time on our own.
