5.00This was a perfect start to our stay in Florence especially as the stops took you around quiet, less touristy neighborhood establishments. Martino, our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Tuscan culture, food and wine. We were able to sample lots of different and delicious foods -- including cheese, pasta, soup and off course gelato! The wine was varied and paired with our dish. Another bonus was that we discovered the hidden treasure of the Basilica di Santo Spirito -- where an early work (a crucifix) by Michelango is displayed. We came to visit this church on a different day during our stay but wouldn't have known about it if not for this tour! We would differently book with Eating Europe in another destination due to this experience.

5.00Dimitri, our guide, grew up in the neighborhood and was superb. The food was at old generational establishments and local specialties, refreshingly not the touristy list. The drink list and exposure/education alone was worth the price. Thank you!

5.00Serena was an amazing guide and the tour was outstanding. Great food stops along with the meats and cheeses. This is, as explained originally peasant food taken to a new level. If you love great food with some fun history thrown in, this is the tour for you.

5.00Ellie was our guide and did a great job! The group was very fun as well. A great way to celebrate Thanksgiving day. I bought some specialty cheese in the cheese stop and they are delicious! One caveat: the tour is more heavy on wine tasting then food. I wish the food portion would have been more.
