There is a compulsory security check which may cause some delays in entering the museum.
Big umbrellas must be left inside a cloakroom on entering Uffizi Gallery. When the tour finishes customers have to make their own way back to Uffizi Gallery to collect their umbrellas. The cloakroom is open until 6:40pm. To reduce any disruption for your group, we recommend that big umbrellas are not taken on this tour. Small umbrellas are still allowed at Uffizi Gallery

Please arrive 15 min before departure at each meeting point. All meeting points must be reached independently. 5.00Worth ever penny. Loved that our groups were smaller than the ones around us. Every guide had a wealth of knowledge and did a great job of sharing without insulting (the lack of) Americans knowledge or dipping into current politics. Very challenging to do when so much of the history we are learning about on these tours has to do with politics.

2.00Our tour guide seemed kind and passionate, but the combination of poor audio equipment, her hurried, broken English, and accent made it difficult for us to follow what she was saying. She spent more time in certain places, but by the end, she began speeding up, and it felt like we missed out on the important galleries. It was as if she rushed through the final parts of the tour just as quickly as she spoke. Felt like a waste of money because everything we got out of it, we read on our own.

1.00Travelers should be warned that internet service is unreliable in Florence. We were unable to download the voucher, tour information or directions to the meeting point. Download everything as soon as you can and take screenshots so you don’t have to rely on service. By the way, the museum is enormous. It would take days to see everything.
