Experience the beauty of spring and witness over a million blooms at the biggest flower festival in Australia, Floriade. Held annually in Canberra during the months of September and October, this festival is a celebration of the vibrant colours, fragrant scents, and beautiful blooms of spring. We provides tours departing from Sydney CBD and Parramatta, making it easy and convenient for you to experience this stunning event. Not only will you get to see the festival, but also visit other important landmarks such as Parliament House, drive by the National Embassy and a quick visit at Mount Ainslie.
7:00AM – City Pickup
City Pickup is located at 24 Rawson Place, Haymarket. Stand in front of Service NSW at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
7:40AM – Parramatta Pickup
Parramatta Pickup is located at the corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta. Stand Infront of Westfield main entrance at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
9:15AM – Toilet Break
A quick 30 minutes comfort stop at Sutton Forest rest area OR Marulan rest area will be provided. A chance for you to stretch your legs and use the facilities.
11:30AM – Floriade Festival
At this stop, we will visit the Floriade tulip festival. Witness over a million blooms throughout Canberra’s Commonwealth Park. This stop is your chance to also grab lunch (Lunch will be at your own cost). 2 hour and 45 minutes will be provided for this particular stop.
2:45PM – Embassies & High Commissions
Canberra is home to nearly 80 embassies and high commissions. Most are in the suburb of Yarralumla. We will take a 15 minute drive around Yarralumla and see traditional and modern architecture from many countries.
3:00PM – Parliament House
The Parliament House was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1988 and consists of 4 700 different rooms of which display stunning architecture and design. We will make a 1 hour stop for you to explore the Parliament House. Remember to take your camera with you for this stop!
4:15PM – Mount Ainslie (Lookout point)
Mount Ainslie is a hill with an elevation of 843 metres (2,766 ft) that is located in the northeastern suburbs of Canberra. A quick 15 minute photo stop will be provided
8:20PM – Parramatta drop off
