Roberta was super friendly and informative. We had previously visited Rome on other trips so this was a wonderful way to discover this charming and historical town, and get to sample the local food and wine.

Excellent tour. Learned a lot about the ancient and modern history of Civitavecchia and had a very knowledgeable guide, Tonya, who was able to explain the monuments and their importance to the area. Along the way, we visited several eating establishments and were able to taste some of the local foods. It was an excellent tour all around and we really enjoyed it.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with Roberta. We looked at the options for excursions, but did not want to spend our time in port traveling to Rome, since we had already visitors the major sites. We did not know the history of Civitavecchia. We enjoyed walking the streets talking about the history and enjoying the food and drinks. There is a lot of food, so come hungry and get ready to have a wonderful relaxing day. The people at each stop were very friendly. The tour operator does a great job communicating the meeting spot and had signs when we exited the gate. We also had time at the end of our day to take our time returning to the ship.

The tour was well organized and guided. Raf brought us closer to their city and made us more than enthusiastic about the city. The foodstops were top selected, everything was there for young and old. The tour we can more than recommend. Raf was just great!

We had an amazing city tour with our guide Raf. She is a local guide here in town. Her passion for the history really shines. We had opportunities to eat at local spots and completed the tour with the cities history. I was so happy to find this tour as we didn’t want to see Rome but the city we departed from. If you’re staying in town this city tour is well worth your time!

Our guide Roberta was amazing. We learned how important Civitavecchia was to Italy throughout history as a trading and defensive port. We also saw the oldest church in Civitavechia, Church of Saint Mary of the Prayer. The four food stops provided us with samples of delicious Italian cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour.

We loved learning about Civitavecchia! Our guide was amazing and could impart so much personal knowledge as she lives in Civitavecchia. All the stops along the way provided us with a deep understanding of this incredible pity city. The tastings we enjoyed very much as well topped off with a delicious glass of wine and tapas delights. Definitely recommend highly!
