The best!!! Very small group which meant we had lots of time to ask questions about everything. Not just the food which was BTW, excellent. In fact. there was nothing rushed about this experience. Eva and....oh my...Nico?.... we're fun and funny. They seemed to be enjoying guiding us as much as we enjoyed being shown around. We got little history lessons mixed with some contemporary takes on the place and the events that influenced the city. They each spoke so casually about events from 500 BC to 500 AD...a thousand years! My wife and I are from a small town in So. Cal. where we talk about the OLD building from 1929. Context matters. Perspective changes here in Rome. The food???? So tasty. At each stop I was unsure if I wanted to go on or just stay and have another bite. My smarter self pushed me on and I was rewarded. I would go again tomorrow but. unfortunately, we have to go back home. Yes. I'm very sad 😢.

I had an amazing experience on this food tour in Rome. Eva and Nico were outstanding hosts — thoughtful, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do. They went above and beyond to make the tour feel personal and memorable, sharing not just great food but also the culture, history, and stories behind each stop. Exploring Trastevere through this tour was a highlight of my trip. Every stop was excellent, from the artisanal bakery to the local restaurants, the pork butcher shop, and of course the gelato. Everything I tasted was fresh and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rome who wants an authentic and well-curated introduction to the city’s food scene. It’s a perfect mix of great flavors, local insight, and warm hospitality.

No frills or boring explanations, just crazy food. I still remember the taste of that supplì and the creaminess of a Carbonara that, alone, was worth the whole trip. The guide didn't look like a Cicero, but a friend who takes you to his favorite places by telling you the secrets of the neighborhood.

If you are looking for an authentic experience in Rome, stop here: this food tour in Trastevere was the highlight of my trip. It is not just a tour to taste food, but a real plunge into the heart of Roman culture. We were escorted through the most picturesque alleys of Trastevere, away from the usual tourist traps, discovering hidden gems that I would never have found alone. We tasted a bit of everything: from crispy supplì to divine porchetta, up to a carbonara made to perfection in a historic trattoria. Each stage was an explosion of authentic flavors. Eva, our guide, was exceptional: prepared, friendly and able to convey all the passion for cooking and local history. The selection of wines in combination was also impeccable. My advice? Come on an empty stomach because the portions are generous! It was an experience that combined great food, history and lots of laughter. Many thanks to the organizers for this unforgettable evening. Absolutely recommended!

Receiving guests often in Rome, it is not the first gastronomic tour I do and/or recommend. But I must say, as a Roman, that this is by far the best of those tried so far! We were taken to very good places, not touristy at all, many of which I myself did not know... so a great experience, both for my foreign friends and for me. I will definitely recommend this tour! A note of merit also for the guide, Eva, really kind and prepared!
