The local food tour
The Tour is a journey to discover one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Rome and just as the Romans did, Trastevere will be reached by visitors via the bridge that linked ancient Rome to the old Transtiberim. You will make this trip accompanied by a local Tour Leader and expert Food Ambassador, and the experience will be full of culinary surprises and will alternate excellent food and wine tastings, as well as local stories and anecdotes. The triumph of the Tour will be represented in the epochal moment of the pasta experience in one of the most historic and least touristy places in the capital. During the tour anyone who wishes will be able to visit one of the most important places of worship in the neighborhood, the Basilica of St. Mary in Trastevere. 5.00This was a VIP tour of a lifetime! We had (Angelo) all to ourselves for the evening and it was remarkable! We visited 5 different venues; each with a wonderful taste for us to enjoy in Rome. We were offered many choices that we might not typically select. They were all amazing! Of course, the pasta at our last stop was just amazing. We had red wine at several of our stops and really enjoyed that. Angelo walked our shoes off - and showed us some of the wonderful food in Rome as is enjoyed by the locals - and we are very grateful for the experience he gave us!!

5.00I attended the "Food VIP Tour in Rome" with some visiting friends, and we couldn't ask for anything better! Our Angel Guide was just fantastic. Not only did he know every hidden corner of Trastevere, but he also accompanied us on a real culinary journey among the authentic flavors of Roman cuisine. Every stop of the tour surprised us: from traditional trattorias to small street food venues, we tasted delicious dishes such as carbonara, supplì, and incredible local desserts. Angelo made everything even more special thanks to his engaging stories and his passion for Roman history and culture. The quality of the food was outstanding and we could discover places we would never have found on our own. It was like being Roman for an evening! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to live an authentic experience in Rome. If you have Angelo as your Guide, get ready for an unforgettable evening!

5.00A great tour. If you are thinking of going on a food tour, do it, and we would certainly recommend this one. Angelo was good company and knew just where to take us. His pride in his city (well deserved of course) and wanting to share the best places to eat shone through. Plenty of different foods, some new to us and some old favourites but all excellent and certainly a cut above other tours we have been on - none of the less good tourist stuff! Plenty of wine as well.

5.00It was a great pleasure to be on this tour. I have had other experiences of this kind before, but never before had any been so pleasant. The person who accompanied us stood out for his great sympathy, professionalism and competence. Angelo gave me his passion for Roman gastronomic culture and allowed me to experience it firsthand during this wonderful experience in Rome. This experience in Rome was undoubtedly the most sensational I had during my holiday. I can't wait to go back to Rome to repeat it. I sincerely thank Angelo for the extraordinary experience he made me and my group of friends live during our stay in Rome. We will never forget her!
