Naritasan Omote Sando
Omotesando Avenue of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, still crowded with visitors to the temple today and in the past Omotesando (main approach) stretches approximately 800 meters from in front of Narita Station. It has flourished as a gate town since the Edo period (1603-1867) and still retains the vestiges of those days. More than 150 restaurants and souvenir stores line the approach to the temple! Enjoy gourmet foods such as the famous eel dishes and a wide selection of souvenirs.
Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple
Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple has a history of more than 1080 years and is one of the most popular temples in Japan, attracting more than 10 million visitors annually. In addition to numerous halls, the spacious precincts include a park rich in nature, and a variety of power spots that are said to bring good fortune and improve one's luck. A variety of hands-on programs and red seal visits are also recommended. Let's heal both body and soul at Narita Pilgrimage, which has been worshipped by people since the Edo period.

Fusako was a great guide. We were on a layover and she had us back to the terminal exactly as planned. She was able to share loc culture while also showing the city’s sites. Part of this trip wss to stop for lunch where we chose sushi and it did not disappoint.

We had a WONDERFUL experience on this tour! My husband, nine year old daughter and I had a six hour layover at NRT between our inbound flight from Seoul and outbound flight to Los Angeles which was a little too long to sit at the airport. This tour allowed us not only to stretch our legs and get some sunshine, it allowed us to tour a really unique city with a "small town" feel despite being the site of the largest Buddhist Temple in the greater Tokyo Area. Our guide Fusako was a gem! She was so good with our daughter, keeping her entertained and engaged despite the fatigue of 12 days of travel. On the train ride back to NRT they made origami together and it was such a sweet moment that we greatly appreciated. All the stars for this tour. Do not miss it!

I had the flexibility to re arrange the tour and the time to give way for my check in for another flight and Fusako ( the tour guide) has been very gracious
