Binoculars are supplied and they are necessary to have a good view of the seals. Good narration by the skipper.

After a friendly reception, the skipper will take you on the lake. With a good portion of humor he explains what you see, the history, the ben nevis, the seals (which you can admire up close) ... Cool facts that I immediately shared with my friends who were walking the WHW 😄

The trip itself is great, the crew are friendly and informative and it’s a lovely way to spend two hours and see some of the sights of Fort William. Reasonably priced too. Our big complaint was that there were a few of us who had arrived early so we could choose where to sit, unfortunately a tour bus arrived with prearranged tickets (not booked seats) and they were boarded ahead of everyone in the queue. Very frustrating and unacceptable. I understand that local companies make deals with tour companies, but there is no reason they can’t queue the same as everyone else.

Our captain was very well informed about the loch and surroundings. The boat remained steady throughout despite inclement weather.

Great trip out. Staff were lovely. Boat clean. No seals though today. But saw Ben Nevis as it is one of the few days it’s not shrouded in cloud

Great tour of Loch Linnhe! We really enjoyed getting out on the water, seeing Fort William and Ben Nevis from a different perspective and learning about the area. Binoculars were provided which was a nice touch. Wildlife was pointed out as it appeared. We had a great time!
