Manchester Wine Tours are relaxed, friendly and informal wine-tasting events.
Each tour includes four of the best Manchester wine venues (bars, pubs, restaurants and shops).
Guests taste 5-8 different types of wine with small but high-quality snacks.
Your tour guide is a Manchester local, a knowledgeable wine professional who can show you the art of wine tasting in a fun, non-stuffy way.
Along the route, you will also stop at various points of interest such as statues of notable characters in Manchester's history.
Tour groups are small with no more than 12 guests per event, which means they are friendly and intimate and everybody has the chance to ask questions and share their own insights.
This is a great way to see the city and enjoy its incredible food and drink scene. There are opportunities to buy wine to take home along the way, if you wish, but no pressure to do so.

What‘s Included
You will taste at least five (and up to eight) different glasses of high quality wine. This equates to at least 2/3 of a bottle of wine in total per guest.
There is a different snack at each of the four venues. These might include Spanish croquetas, French cheese, mini corned beef hash, hash browns with taramasalata, oysters, falafels, nuts and so on.

5.00We bought a gift voucher as a present for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday and booked to come along as a family day out. Kel was a fantastic host, not only introducing us to new wines but choosing delicious snacks to go with them. It was a brilliant mix of different bars (some gems we'll definitely go back to), walks in between stops with interesting landmarks and history and learning about wine. It was a really fun but interesting and unique tour which we'll definitely do again. My sister-in-law and the rest of the family loved it. Thanks Kel!

5.00A fantastic tour! I went solo and met some lovely people as well as learning so much about wine and exploring new venues that even after 25 years in Manchester had not seen. 5.00Fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Manchester. My friend and I have lived in Manchester most of our lives but Kel still managed to bring a new perspective on the city and brought a non pretentious slant on a wine tasting. Loves every minute of it and already planning the next one.

5.00Loved this tour. What a delightful way to spend 4 hours. In between the delicious wine and wonderful independent bars, I managed to get lots of steps in which helped ease my conscience! Kel is friendly and knowledgable (without being pretentious) and our hosts in each bar were welcoming and passionate about what they do. Highly recommend.

5.00We had a fabulous afternoon yesterday on this tour, starting at the Lincoln Statue learning some history & enjoying the culture of Manchester. Trying new venues & wines was delightful, the accompanying snacks delicious! I would highly recommend this wine tour, it combines the wines with a walking tour of Manchester seeing statues we had walked past without ever noticing them! A great afternoon!

5.00Wonderful afternoon spent walking from one interesting bar/restaurant to another, sampling fantastic wines and eating lovely food. Kel, our host, was extremely knowledgeable and lots of fun. She herded us from one place to another with aplomb even taking us past interesting statues enroute, with a story about each. Great to go to new places in Manchester and see how vibrant the eating and wine scene can be.

5.00From the moment we met Kel we knew we were in for a treat. She was funny, informative and just an all round superstar. Her passion for and knowledge of wine was exceptional. We tasted wines we would never have tried and she definitely broadened our horizons. We visited 4 fab venues that we didn’t even know existed. They all provided delicious snacks to complement the wines. All in all a really fabulous day out if you like good food, good wine and great company.

5.00Went on the Manchester wine tour last night – it was my second time, but my friends hadn’t been before. We all had such a brilliant evening! The host, Kel, is exceptional! She is so knowledgeable about the wines and made it really fun and engaging. We shared the tour with another lovely group of people which made it feel even more relaxed. Great wine, great host, great venues and a good way to discover new wine bars and venues in Manchester whilst learning a bit of history about the city along the way! Can’t recommend it enough!
