Manchester Wine Tours are friendly, informal and fun wine-tasting events.
Each tour includes four of the best Manchester wine venues (bars, pubs, restaurants and shops).
Guests taste at least 6 different types of wine with high-quality snacks.
Your tour guide is a Manchester local, a qualified and experienced wine professional who can show you the art of wine tasting in a light-hearted, non-stuffy way.
Along the route, you will also stop at various points of interest, such as statues of notable characters in Manchester's history.
Tour groups are small with no more than 12 guests per event, which means they are friendly and intimate and everybody has the chance to ask questions and share their own insights.
This is a great way to see the city and enjoy its incredible food and drink scene. There are opportunities to buy wine to take home along the way, if you wish, but no pressure to do so.

What To Expect
Manchester
Tours vary from week to week but all take in various parts of Manchester city centre, different statues and points of interest as well as four locations to taste wine with snacks.
What‘s Included
You will taste at least five (and up to eight) different glasses of high quality wine. This equates to at least 2/3 of a bottle of wine in total per guest.
There is a different snack at each of the four venues. These might include Spanish croquetas, French cheese, mini corned beef hash, hash browns with taramasalata, oysters, falafels, nuts and so on.

5.00I received the wine tour voucher as a birthday present. It was a fantastic afternoon hosted by Kelly. She has a great knowledge and enthusiasm for wine and we could ask her questions as we went along. We visited 4 venues in total and the pace was set just right. All were lovely and very welcoming. All of the wines that we tasted were incredible and the food was good too. I would definitely recommend it as something to do in Manchester and we're definitely going to book again. It's well worth it. Thank you Kelly.

5.00This was our second time with Manchester Wine Tours and we loved it - Kel is a great host and only takes guests to the best and most interesting spots in Manchester City Centre for delicious wine and snacks. Even as locals living in town and visiting the venues ourselves, we learn or try something new. Will definitely be back for a third time :)

5.00Fab experience! Lived in Manchester all my life and visited places I didn’t know existed! (And some statues shamefully I’d never even noticed) Kel was very friendly personable and knowledgeable. Food and wine choices were excellent as were the venue choices, particularly liked the wine room in Sterling! Nice way to eat, drink chat, meet new people and find new places! Highly recommend !!

5.00We had a fabulous time with Jack on our wine tour last week, and have been recommending Manchester Wine Tours to anyone who will listen since. Jack was friendly, funny and created a great atmosphere on the tour, as well as very kindly accommodating our late arrival due to a Uber nightmare. We went to four places we'd never tried, enjoyed delicious wine and snacks and learnt a lot about them and the venues we were in. We are already looking forward to another tour in the future, and would urge people to definitely give one a try 🌟

5.00What a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon, I had arranged this tour as a gift for a friend, I had no idea what to expect. It was such good fun, we thoroughly enjoyed it, I really feel that I gained a much better understanding of wine. Kel who was our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable, she had arranged excellent venues, wine and food, I cant believe the 4 hours went so quick, we will definitely be booking again.

5.00Just a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Kel was exceptional . Relaxed, knowledgeable, engaging and not pretentious . Loved the different venues, especially Caravan and Sterling. And who knew Sam’s chop house was so great for wine We plan to be back ❤️
