We had a really enjoyable cycle with Phil. He showed us the sights and was full of interesting stories at each place. We stopped off for a drink on the way back. I highly recommend this tour.

Get way to see Freo and get a feel for its culture and history. A lot of stop and start at the beginning as well as riding through town. The ride through the streets of Freo would have been good if it wasn't so fast. Not much time to take in the sights. Also a lot of twists and turns through narrow streets and past bollards and down one way streets. This meant it was easy to lose sight of the bike leader. The ride was to the leaders pace rather than the participants, so you want to be a confident cyclist or speak up if you want to stop to check something out ... like the submarine. Nice to stop for lunch at a local pub so don't forget to bring your $.

I did the Fremantle bike tour with a group of friends on a sunny day, and it was honestly one of the best ways to experience the city! It was my first time riding an e-bike, and I was a bit nervous, but Joao was super kind and made sure I felt safe and confident the whole time. We cruised through beautiful streets and learned so much about Fremantle’s history — especially around immigration, which was fascinating. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Freo and shared great stories that brought the place to life. The route was chill, the bikes were easy to use, and the vibe was fun l! Highly recommend :) Thanks again to the organisers for the experience and for being so thoughtful! 🙏🏼

I had the best time on the bike tour with Fremantle Bikes! The route was stunning – from coastal paths to the heart of Fremantle, it was the perfect mix of scenery and history. The bikes were top quality and super comfortable, making the ride easy and enjoyable. A huge shoutout to Joao and Phil – they truly made the experience unforgettable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and so passionate about what they do. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time, and their energy and local insight really added something special to the tour. If you’re looking for a fun, eco-friendly way to explore Fremantle, don’t miss this! Highly recommend.😊👏🏼

It was an outstanding tour w our guide, Phil taking an extra excursion a little off the beaten path to let me see the area my Dad was being cared for during WWII, after his ship was torpedoed & sunk by a German U-boat in the Indian Ocean west of Perth. Phil told us of many interesting stories regarding the area, and the bikes were top notch; comfortable and easy to manage.

A fantastic start to our holiday. We were able to get a snapshot of Fremantle that helped us plan the rest of the holiday. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended and don’t worry about your fitness level the e bikes take care of that 😀.

Cycling on an e-bike requires little effort and enabled the tour to reach sites too far for a walking tour. C.Y. O’Connor Beach, a beautiful spot with intriguing history is one such place. Furthermore, the tour takes one through suburbs where one can see the well preserved houses typical of Fremantle's history and a hill top view of the port. A coffee at the asylum was the cherry on the cake of an informative tour with a knowledgeable local guide, Phil. I encourage tourists to take the tour. It is worth it!
