3.00The guide was great and very knowledgeable — we really did like her. However, the quality of the train tickets and the overall time constraints felt disappointing and poorly structured from the beginning. The amount of time we had in both Lucerne and Interlaken was extremely limited. The tour breakdown provided beforehand made it seem like we would have approximately a two-hour guided tour along with an hour and a half of free time. In reality, we ended up with roughly a half hour of free time in Lucerne following our tour, and we barely had any opportunity to truly see Interlaken. Once we arrived onsite to Interlaken we were told to return in again about a half hour total. That timeframe included the “tour,” which ultimately did not occur because there simply was not enough time. Additionally, the tour was advertised as a premium panoramic train experience, yet we were placed in economy seating without assigned seats on any of the trains. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful, and on the final train I was unable to sit with my family, which was not ideal. Would take the train again just for the wonderful views but direct or through another company. Breakdown we were provided attached for reference.

5.00We had a wonderful day! Our guide, Julianna, was knowledgeable and a lovely person to hang out with for the day. Lucerne was an interesting place to visit, with so much history and beauty. The panoramic train ride through the mountains and lakes was breathtaking.

4.00Tram & train easy thanks to Pietra our guide. Somewhat disappointed in Interlacken as would like to have more time to extend to mountain activities. Lucerne time & areas visited was sufficient.

5.00This was an excursion by train from Basel with Lucerne as a first destination. Our guide, Juliana, led us to the important sites of the city. It was rainy off and on but it didn’t diminish her enthusiasm. We opted to stay with her rather than use some free time. Then we boarded the panoramic train for the trip to Interlaken. Juliana made sure we got the best seats. Train ride was filled with beautiful scenery. Then we arrived at Interlaken. Juliana led us through the town. High point was watching paragliders land. We had some free time to shop and back on train for return to Basel. The trip was great even though the weather was definitely mixed. Kudos to Juliana for making it all work.

5.00We took this tour with 4 couples during our European vacation and it was terrific!!! The train was amazingly comfortable (we highly recommend the cafe car on the train), our guide was professional, knowledgeable, very attentive, and a joy to spend the day with, and the sights we were able to see were outstanding! We enjoyed the day immensely! Thank you to our guide Juliana for making it a wonderful experience!!!! We highly recommend this excursion and if you can have our same guide, even better!!!
