What To Expect
Cape Town to Mossel Bay
Cape Town Central
• 6:30 am: Pick up at accommodation in Cape Town by a private tour guide/driver and private vehicle. • We travel on the N2 through Elgin and pass through Caledon, Riviersonderend and Riversdale.
Mossel Bay Tourism
• Proceed to Mossel Bay for a 12-minute Helicopter tour along the coastline. Travellers will see the beautiful coastal beach along the Indian Ocean called Mossel Bay.
• 12:30 pm: We travel to Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for a recommended lunch. • 14:00 pm: Depart on a 3-hour game drive in an open 4×4 truck. This is a unique occasion to fully experience the Big 5.
Mossel Bay
• 17:00 pm: Depart Botlierskop Game Reserve for guest accommodation in Mossel Bay area. • 17:30 pm: We check-in and freshen up before dinner time. The tour guide/driver will be available for dinner transfers.
Mossel Bay to Tsitsikamma
Knysna Heads
• 9:00 am: Today guests will be picked up at their accommodation in Mossel Bay after breakfast and check out. • We travel to Knysna and explore the Knysna Heads, drive to the top of one of the heads and down to the beach. • We stop at the Garden of Eden for a guided walking tour for approximately 15 minutes.
Birds of Eden
• Thereafter we admire the birds in the largest bird sanctuary in the southern hemisphere, Birds of Eden and also visit Monkey land sanctuary.
Storms River Suspension Bridge
• Our next stop is at the Storms River mouth entering through the Tsitsikamma National Park. • 14:00 pm: We recommend lunch at the Cattle Baron restaurant at Storms River Mouth. • After lunch, we embark on a guided walking tour of about 900M to the Hanging bridge.
Knysna to Cape Town
Oudtshoorn
• 8:00 am: Pick up at accommodation in Knysna after breakfast and check out. • We travel to Oudtshoorn for a fun-filled day of activities in the Klein Karoo.
Safari Ostrich Farm
• Our first stop is at the Safari Ostrich farm to interact with the Ostriches. Here travelers will enjoy an ostrich game drive.
Cango Wildlife Ranch
• Cango Wildlife Ranch is our next stop to see some animals. In their Natural Encounters Program you can: Befriend a snake, Meet a cheetah, Interact with a Serval, Chill with a Tegu Hang out with our Ring-Tailed Lemurs or Croc-Cage Dive with our Nile crocodiles! *not during winter months Croc-Feeding *not during winter months
Cango Caves
The Cango Caves are found at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley. Set in the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo - the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their large halls and towering formations.
Cape Town Central
At the end of the Cango Caves tour, we will return to Cape Town for drop off. The drive is approximately 5 hours. However, we can drop off at George Airport or Port Elizabeth Airport should you not wish to drive back to Cape Town. Please note: We can also start this tour with a pick up in Port Elizabeth.
