This is a long day trip excursion but it is absolutely worth it! We were able to experience Cinque Terre and the historic Pisa complex with opportunities to explore on our own and to have the guidance of Elizabetta and Nathan. The crowded train line is a slice of weekend life in the Cinque Terre. We mainly visited Vernazza and Monterosso and they were gorgeous! Due to time constraints, we decided to have lunch with the group together at Il Brigantino and it was delicious! Shout out to them in Monterosso.

Elizabeth and her tour were amazing. Very informative so you know exactly what was happening and where you needed to be at different times. We would definitely do it again!

Well worth the price because Elizabeth, Dani, and Mossimo navigated the transportation situations expertly! We definitely would have gotten lost without them. Very nice tour!

With no notice at all, Nathan and Elizabeth found themselves at the train station with a bus full of people and no train to go . Problems up the line shut down everything. Elizabeth and Nathan managed the situation. Well, kept everyone informed, and had us moving in an altered direction in short order. They are to be applauded for their grace under pressure.

Great day in Pisa! Our tour was supposed to go to 2 of the villages in Cinque Terre in addition to Pisa, but we had to pivot due to a train closure. Elisabetta, Nathan, and Cesare handled making adjustments quickly and we spent extra time in Pisa instead of going to Cinque Terre. We all made the best of it, knowing that these things happen, and had a great day. The company offered us a generous discount and also invited us back on the same tour tomorrow. (Unfortunately we can’t go.) Staff was very knowledgeable & helpful.

Met our guide Nathan at the train station, clear instructions were provided. We boarded a bus with a tour guide, Nathan. The group was from all over. Nathan was quirky and informative. We opted for transportation only, but you could have done addons for a wine tasting. We arrived in Sienna first where we shopped, ate and meandered until the meet up time. We visited old churches and ate prosciutto sandwiches. I loved the comparable quietness of Sienna vs. the bustling nature of Florence. We continued on to San Gimignano where the tour guide took us right to the world's best gelato and helped us to take group shots of the rolling hills behind us. We did more exploring, drinking wine, grabbing beautiful jewelry at the shops and giant slices of pizza. We arrived back in Florence around 6:30pm. It was an awesome day.

This trip felt like just the right balance of diversity of experience without overdoing it. Our guide Nathan Smith was a fantastic crowd-wrangler and story-teller who knew all the right people to get even more discounted and convenient experiences for the group. The spots we visited were beautiful and memorable and we felt like there was an appropriate amount of time spent at each location to enjoy the experience without feeling too rushed. We had two young kids with us (ages 3 and 6) and they did great - Nathan was very kind to them and gave us special attention for kids' needs (i.e. extra bathroom breaks, food recommendations, jokes) as the only family with kids in the group. Overall highly recommend and very grateful for this opportunity to experience a beautiful and pristine part of Italy that we would not have seen otherwise.
