Upon disembarking, friendly hosts will guide you to the bus for a half-day tour of the beautiful seaside towns of Honfleur and Deauville. Each town offers stunning views and rich culture. You’ll be comfortably returned to your ship with plenty of time before departure.
Deauville
Deauville, known as the jewel of the Norman coast, is an elegant resort town famed for its glamorous film festival, prestigious horse races, and luxury boutiques. Upon arrival, you’ll take a panoramic bus tour highlighting Deauville’s top attractions, including Villa Strassburger, the Deauville Hippodrome, and the Casino. The bus will drop you off at the Casino, where you can enjoy a short walk to the famous “Les Planches” boardwalk and the beach. Afterward, you’ll have free time to shop, explore, or relax by the sea.

4.00Organization at Le Havre was non existant. Agents were not where they said theyd be. Eventually found we'd been subcontracted to another agency. Once on board the bus, the tour was fantastic. Our guide 'Lawrence' was brilliant - an expat Australian with a passion for France, great knowledge, clear & understandable English, with a good sense of humour. We bypassed Deauville as they were hosting a triathlon & visited Trouville on the opposite shore of the river. A very good choice with markets, architecture and excellent food. We should have had more time there. Honfleur is everything they claimed & well worth the visit.

5.00Easy pick up right at the dock. Our guide Lawrence was very informative and polite with lots of information and history of the area. Our driver Sebastian negotiated the narrow roads with precision. Coach was very comfortable and the AC very welcome on a hot day. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

5.00What a fabulous day! Deauville was swapped out for Touville due to a triathlon event, and what a great addition. Prior notification was spot on and the option to pull out of tour offered but unnecessary. Lawrence was an absolutely brilliant guide. Informative and knowledgeable with an engaging sense of humour. I would recommend this excursion to any Le Havre cruise ship passengers wanting to see something of the Normandy countryside while in port

5.00Beautiful harbor cities with history and quaint shops. Plenty of free time to walk around the towns and sample the local Normandy wine/cheeses. Good alternative for those who don’t want to do the long trek to Paris. Lawrence was a great tour guide, very communicative!

5.00In the first quiet, quaint city, we walked around for about an hour sampling local foods, including from a Saturday market. In Honfleur, we got about a 30 minute tour with info about the area and restaurants and then ventured on our own to art galleries, shops, and restaurants.
