Lawrence said he created this tour to highlight two areas he loves in France. I highly recommend it if you don’t have time for the Normandy or Paris tour from the dock in La Havre. You’ll enjoy both towns and Lawrence is knowledgeable and passionate about the area.

From start to finish, our Viator‑booked Honfleur excursion was one of the highlights of our trip — and that was due in large part to our guide, Lawrence. He was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about France. More importantly, he made us feel like guests, not customers. That kind of hospitality is rare. Our first stop was Deauville, home of the Sundance Film Festival. Lawrence recommended a local crepe shop, and I’m grateful he did. My wife had never tried a crepe before — and she has a very discerning palate — so I wanted her first one to be the real deal. She absolutely loved the fresh strawberry crepe I bought her. That alone would’ve made the morning memorable. Then came Honfleur, and it exceeded even Lawrence’s detailed description. The seaside views were stunning, the seafood in the local restaurants tasted like it came straight off the boat, and the streets were lined with vendors selling cheese, fruit, and all kinds of local treats. I even found a shop selling Cuban cigars at a reasonable price — a win in my book. One of my favorite moments was practicing my high‑school French with the cigar shop owner. I greeted him and asked how he was doing — all in French — and his grin was as wide as Broad Street in Philly is long. He started speaking to me in French, and I told him (in French) that I only spoke a little. He replied that he only spoke a little English. We both laughed and kept going. When he asked if the price was okay, I accidentally answered “Si” before correcting myself with “Oui.” He laughed even harder. That small exchange made my day. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience — great guide, great food, great scenery, and great memories. If you’re considering this excursion, do yourself a favor and book it. And if you’re lucky enough to get Lawrence, you’re in for something special

Our guide was an Australian who moved to France after his children were born and just loved the place. We didn't really have enough time but that was because the ship left in the early afternoon. But he gave us good information and we enjoyed the trip

First of all, it was easy to find them at the port. Lawrence is an excellent tour guide. He has a lot of information to share about Deauville and Honfleur. We were given free time to explore more on both places. It would have been more wonderful experience if we have whispers, though. At any rate, it was a great tour experience with Lawrence.
