3.00The bus left late from the meeting point. The ride itself was fine, although the WiFi was “unavailable.” Then, on the way back, the bus broke down in Liverno and we were simply told to “get out.” We had no idea where we were, but luckily found we were just a few blocks from the meeting point — which also was where the cruise ship shuttle was meeting us. The service was unbelievably bad. Pisa itself was lovely and we’re glad to have seen it, but the transportation was much less than we expected from a company recommended by Viator.
Beautiful experience, on my bucket list.

5.00The ride to Pisa was on a nice bus. We have plenty of time to visit every site. I had no idea that there was also a cathedral and a dome. We were fortunate to receive free tickets to see the cathedral, but if you want to climb the tower, you should make an appointment well in advance. Beautiful experience, and definitely one for my bucket list.

3.00This literally is just what it says on the tin, a transfer and no more. You have to get a shuttle from the cruise port to the meeting point in Livorno. There is no organisation when you get to the coach. It is a double decker so be aware that there is lots of pushing and shoving as people rush for their preferred seats. If you are elderly or need a lower level seat for mobility reasons, good luck. There is no accommodation for this. If you are a group that would like to sit together, forget it. It’s a free for all. Coach itself was ok, nothing special. Journey takes about 45 minutes then there is still a fair walk into Pisa from the coach park with no direction or advice from the tour operatives. Our advice is follow the people and try to remember the way back! On the whole this is a tour that could be hugely improved with just a bit of consideration and direction (in respect of seating) and some basic directions upon arrival.
