Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

We had the best time on this whale watching trip! Captain Steve somehow found all the whales and we had an action packed trip where we could basically turn our head in any direction and see whale activity. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Maui.

We saw A LOT of whales. Staff was great. Free soft drinks. The only thing free in Hawaii other than scenery.

On the trip, numerous whales were sighted. Comfortable boat. A good experience. Some tourists might have difficulty walking from the meeting place to the ship's slip.

We absolutely loved every minute of this tour! Check in was easy. They served us drinks while we sat and watched for whales. The captain of the ship was knowledgeable , and very good at spotting whales and being able to give us direction to see them ourselves. This was a decent sized two story boat with plenty of seating. We saw multiple whales, including a few young whales. Parking was easy . My family (all over 40) really enjoyed this trip.

Whale Watch 2/20/26 If you have any of your party that has a physical impairment or disability do yourself a favor and book with another company. Our included a brother in law and myself. We are both disabled veterans. He is an amputee and I am unable to use one of my legs. The staff on the boat will do their best once to make up for the disrespect and discomfort required by the management. All passengers are required to park in the paid above the harbor. Yes there is handicapped parking in this lot. The process of getting to the lower level meeting area was not bad. The fact that they require everyone to arrive 30 minutes early is silly when you find out that the procedure is a staff member comes over at the appointed time and informs us that we need to follow them to wait next to the boat to check in. To get to the driving/walking area of the harbor there is a downhill slant hazard making it very difficult not to fall. The walk is not a short one especially if you are not on working limbs or their substitutes. Along the walk, we passed several available parking spaces including open handicapped spaces. I can surmise there is a kickback to them for requiring the other parking area. We reached out to staff on the boat about changing the directions about the mandatory parking location and the “check-in” and Boss Frog for handicapped access the day of the excursion. We all also filled out review cards about it to asking for an email or a phone call. On 2/25 I emailed them as well. They have not responded at all to my request even to just say that they have read it and are working on it. For those of you who think that this is a non-issue, I encourage you to strap on “peg-leg”/single crutch and see how easy it is to get around for an entire day. Falling happens a lot and on pavement the injuries can be serious because a lot of time you can’t break your falls.

The tour guide was great! He kept looking for whales and kept in contact with other nearby boats to make sure we got to see whales. When we did see whales we stopped and sat to watch them for a while before we moved on
