Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

5.0The tour started off a bit shaky. There were a lot of people standing around in front of Boss Frog's, waiting to be checked in, at the printed time. About 10 minutes after the "check in" time someone came out and told us all to go over to the boat. I think we left the dock about 10 minutes late by the time everyone walked over there and got checked in. Once onboard everything went smoothly. The crew was friendly and the captain knowledgeable. He was very good about pointing the boat in the direction of whales. When we were headed back to dock, a whale breached right in front of the boat. He had to cut the motor so we did not hit it. It was impressive! Definitely worth the trip.
