Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

What To Expect
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

5.00Great experience from stepping foot on the boat until departing. Captain, crew and boat all top notch. Even though we knew it was at the end of the season, the captain found a mother and calf humpback just 10 minutes from port. He stayed with them, minding regulations, and we got to follow them for quite a while. Highly recommend this cruise.

5.00We had a perfect experience with the crew of the quicksilver. Although very late in the season we were able to see mothers and their calfs thanks to the captain. Awesome experience. We are first timers in Hawaii and our dream to see the humpback whales came true. The crew of the quicksilver was knowledgeable and fantastic. We highly recommend this provider.

5.00We went on a Quicksilver whale watching cruise today and saw several mama whales with their calves. Saw a pod of 3 whales. Several breeches and lots of spouting. We were praying to see some whales, because it’s the end of the season. God really blessed us with whales 🐋😍 The crew was very friendly and informative. They took great care of us. Comfortable seating and fantastic views.
