Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

Great whale watching experience, especially considering it was right after the Kona storm. Saw lots of whales. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We've done whale watching on smaller raft vessels in the past and appreciated the bigger boat, which helped my daughter not get sea sick. The hydrophone was a fun and interesting addition.

We had a great time! The price was so reasonable. The tour was 2 hours and we saw so many whales. The staff was amazing! Everyone was so nice. The guide was so knowledgeable. We learned a lot about whales. The photographer ( Joe ) was a cutie and took a lot of amazing pictures! We definitely recommend this!!!!!!

Was a fantastic tour! We did the 1:00 pm on short notice because of a he storms coming in later. We saw plenty of whales and the boat ride and crew were great. The boat was larger and made the ride much smoother. I would highly recommend a whale watching trip if you’re in Maui.

This boat tour is OK. Do you see whales? Yes. Up close? Not really. Unless you get an upper deck front row seat. We would see a whale and captain would turn boat so bow was towards whale and all other seats in boat lost view. We saw more whales and a better view with binoculars from the shore and papawai scenic lookout. Lots of families on board and everyone fighting to get a good view. I’d recommend a smaller tour if you can - much better experience. It’s also very hard to hear what is being said over speakers due to wind and volume low. I was hoping to get a little more “education” about the whales but we just couldn’t hear due to volume on boat and proximity to speakers.
