Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

What To Expect
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

5.00What a fantastic experience. While sighting a whale isn't guaranteed, we certainly we not disappointed. The topping on the event was the hydrophone and hearing the whale communicate. The view of the coast was excellent, including the rainbows. The staff were friendly and quick. We enjoyed being on a larger boat than the rafts, due to fear of water.

5.00We booked whale watching tour (thru get your guide ) with quicksilver company and our family had an amazing experience. Team provided safety instructions and took photos for purchase if interested (but they will also take pics with your phone if you request them which is nice). The tour is about 2 hrs. we have to be there 30 mins before. We took 10.30am tour and saw few whales which was amazing. Captain was very good not only providing commentary during the tour but also being patient to give all of us sufficient time to see the creatures. Team also provides complimentary water/soft drinks but for other drinks/snacks they are available to buy.

3.00Saw a lot of whales, but boat was quite crowded. Crew was good too. Not that much outdoor space on the boat. Would pick a different experience in the future.
