Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

What To Expect
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

5.00Had a wonderful time on whale watching cruise. Saw mom and calf, several whales breaching (partial and full), and one whale slapping its tail multiple times. Lots of whale spouts too. Captain was very knowledgable, and crew was very helpful

5.00Excursion was fun and went very smoothly. Easy to find meet up place and we left in time. Soda and water was complimentary. We saw a lot of mama and baby whales together and even saw a bit of tension between two male whales over a female with lots of tail splashing and asserting of dominance while still giving them good distance. Weather was perfect and ride was smooth. Staff was so sweet and friendly. The whale facts were interesting too. The only thing I didn’t really like was how they recommended $20 gratuity per couple and we got like one soda & a plain coffee so I felt that was a steep tip. Otherwise def recommend these guys!

5.00Very pleasant trips. Saw lots of whales. Captain knew a lot about the humpback. Crew was very nice all around! Only 1 complaint: design of the ship made getting a “good” seat a challenge. Largest part of the seating area was inside. People were aggressively jostling for a spot they thought was a good view. Outside and on top deck. In reality the ship moved around a lot and whales were all around us. . But If everyone would have just been nice to each other and shared their view so to speak, could have been better. Nature of people these days… maybe Captain could mention “share the view” concept…. But he shouldn’t have to. And certainly not his fault.

5.00This is a comfortable, fuel powered, larger boat that accomodates many needs and is really good for all ages and abilities. This is a great option for multi-generational groups. It provides shaded and open air location and a 'Shoes On" experience for all that gets you out on the water. The pay for what you eat and drink of adult beverages was at a really good price. Again, a really good option for anyone to get out on the sea. I have also toured on the zodiac rafts and sail boats with dining options and open bar for whale watching. They are all wonderful expierences as well. But, this was perfect for the larger group I was with and everyone was very happy and satisfied with their time at sea. If this is your first or 100th time out on the water, its a great option. Great staff and crew once on board. You will have wonderful views, see whales and a smooth journey
