Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

What To Expect
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

5.00Excellent service. Beautiful views and friendly staff. No whales sighted but they did offer a follow up tour to get another chance. It’s the end of whale season but I appreciate that they offered this. I would definitely book this again.

5.00What a great experience. It was late in the season and we were not anticipating much, but the captain quickly found some whales, a mom and calf which came right up to the boat. We even had a whale fully breach not far off, thanks for a great time.

5.00Started out concerned that we were not going to enjoy ourselves as we had trouble finding the Quicksilver. Maybe the slip number would’ve helped. So many boats! Once on board, however, the experience just kept getting better. Terrific crew, well appointed boat, after a very pleasant ride, we even saw whales! They truly did not expect to since we are past the season. Excellent experience. Totally enjoyed.
