Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

What To Expect
This double-deck power catamaran leaves from Ma'alaea Harbor and can bring you to the whales quickly. Juices and sodas are included, all kinds of drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms on board. The humpback whales return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. The trip takes you out to see for two hours, with a professional guide, these amazing animals from December to April.

5.00Even towards the end of the season we saw a ton of whales. The whales were awesome and the boat was very comfortable, had snacks, juice/soda, and water - and alcohol for purchase but we didn’t get anything. The bathrooms were nice. Was a great experience and sold for sure do again!

4.00We enjoyed watching a baby and her mama for quite some time. We were hoping for more action from the males, but we were also outside the window for whale season. FYI… Finding Boss Frogs was not easy. Go down the stairs and to the right. We didn’t even need to check in there. Instead, we had to walk around the marina and check in right at the boat.

5.00Amazing experience! Reasonable ticket prices. Loved that my youngest was free of charge. Boat was full but it didn't feel crowded. The staff were so friendly and kind. While of course I'm sure it varies based on time of year, they found us some whales really quickly and they were so educational and informative! This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

5.00Great and fun tour! Unfortunately weather was too much to go to Molokini but that's okay, they took us to 2 different spots where we got to snorkel for quite awhile! After, they took us to go see whales which was fun too! Great crew and great boat! Mahalo Erica for a great time.

5.00Magical✨ Breathtaking🐋 & Beautiful🌞 BOOK IT NO QUESTIONS ASKED. What an awesome experience thanks to the Quicksilver boat and crew!! I took my 4 year old to Maui by myself to visit family and this whale watching experience was one big thing we were blessed to be able to do. I was super nervous taking him on this boat alone due to him being a little toddler monster sometimes. I was so thankful to the crew for not judging me while I was trying to make sure he stayed alive but also see whales and have fun. They made it extremely great for us. From the photographer to the guy behind the bar-so many thanks to you all for the memories that I will cherish forever with my baby boy. Mahalo from Michigan🤙
