Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

Well that was the best whale watching experience I’ve ever had. Captain wasn’t very knowledgeable and articulate explaining the history and geography of the area and of the different sea creatures we saw. John had full control of the bar and there were many small children on board as well. This boat is not an all you can drink debacle like other boats I have been on. There was plenty of shade and we saw a BUNCH of activity with a few pods hanging around. Calling our photographer caught a huge breach and other amazing photos and video of the whole experience. It was the perfect amount of time on the boat and you cannot beat the pressure ce. This is a solid excursion with a solid crew and company

Very friendly and knowledgeable people on the boat. It was a little slow at first, but we eventually saw many whales. The only area where improvement is needed is in the waiver signing process. We were sent an email with a link that took us to someplace in Texas that had nothing to do with this whale watching tour and was just trying to sell us snorkel tours, and boat tours. When we eventually got to the correct site, it was still a very cumbersome and difficult process. It took over a half hour to get our party at four through the waiver process and we ended up being the last ones on the boat because of it.

Fun trip, saw lots of whales! Crew was helpful and informative! It was pretty crowded on the boat, 7-10 less passengers would make a big difference’

LOTS of Mommas and baby whales breaching. Great information narrated by captains. Didn’t like how they kept moving the boat so only the front side could see the whales breaching. The underwater sounds weren’t as cool as I expected. Definitely more shade than a zodiac boat.

Pros-We did see a lot of whales Cons-The operators did not give much information about whales and it seemed like their main objective was to take pictures of your family to sell you a photo package. You had to stand in the hot sun waiting for all the photos to be taken. They need a separate line for the photos.

Very good, comfortable, boat. Offers free beverages and has bathroom facilities (heads). Lots of companies to choose from, I’ve been on 4 different tours, 2 on ribs and two on motor cats. I prefer the cats for this type of outing for the ability to get into some shade, have facilities, be able to move around. Although my best experience was on a rib back in the day with Captain Steve, those guys were dialed in, put the extra effort into having a great experience with the whales (enough said about their procedures) the cats never give that extra effort but they do very well. today ribs seem to be selling something other than whale watching, some sort of adrenaline fuelled experience but it’s not really that, it’s more of a loud music and banging over waves while landing in the lap of your fellow adventurer. Not exciting at all.

Great experience, family friendly. Very knowledgeable captain. Saw lots of beautiful whales and learned about their migratory habits. Service on board was great too.

It was a great way to see all the humpback whales in their natural habitat. I would say the only critique I have would be the price for the pictures was a bit too high. Also I didn’t get any pictures taken of me just my mom.

Not worth $50. Captain always keot the whales on the right side of the boat. If you are on the other side you couldn’t see any whales. Very disappointing
