What To Expect
San Jorge
We will go to Puerto San Jorge, a freshwater beach where locals travel during the summer to spend time with their families, and also the place where we will board the ferry to our destination.
Isla de Ometepe
After getting off the ferry, we will be on Ometepe Island, where we will head to our first destination, Punta Jesús María.

5.00We had the most incredible day exploring Ometepe with Nica Paradise Tours, thanks to Francisco and our top-notch guide, Luis. Francisco arranged a fully customized experience for us, including seamless transportation from our hotel in San Juan del Sur and back at the end of the day. Everything was thoughtfully coordinated and completely stress-free. Ometepe itself is pure magic—two volcanoes rising out of Lake Nicaragua, with rich history, culture, and natural beauty. It’s absolutely a must-do when visiting Nicaragua. What made the day unforgettable, though, was Luis. He is, without exaggeration, an elite tour guide, an absolute master of his craft. His depth of knowledge is something you could spend a lifetime trying to learn. From local history to flora and fauna, he seemed to know everything, all while being warm, engaging, and professional. At Charco Verde Natural Reserve, he pointed out howler monkeys, butterflies, snakes, and a wide variety of trees, plants, and flowers—explaining their potential uses and significance. We also stopped at Playa Mangos for a perfect mid-day cocktail, and ended our day at Ojo de Agua, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the cool, crystal-clear natural spring—such a beautiful and peaceful way to wrap up the experience. It was truly a magical day that left us wishing we had more time on Ometepe, and plenty of reasons to plan a return visit. I can’t recommend Francisco, Luis, and Nica Paradise Tours enough.

3.00This tour is not so bad but wake up at 5:00am driving two hours, ferry one hour plus a small tour not the fault of the guide but of what you have to see over there after same time for come back with a lot of traffic for me is no worst

5.00An incredible tour hosted by NicaParadise Tours and Anthony the tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel in Managua and escorted us to the ferry and took us to a variety of places on the Island of Ometepe. Everyone loves him and after spending 2 days with him we know why. He is such an awesome tour guide, extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture, and awesome to hang out with. He makes you feel like a friend and you often forget you’re on a tour at all and not just spending the day sightseeing with a buddy. I highly recommend this agency and Anthony specifically!

5.00A great way to see a beautiful country, makes me want to come back and do more. Next excusrion booking there will be more adventure to be had. Make sure to ask about food at mirador los volcanoes, the views there are out of a fairy tale book!

If you crave adventure, raw natural beauty, and a connection to something ancient and powerful, book this tour NOW. Trust me. Imagine this: Twin volcanic giants, Concepción (perfectly conical and often wreathed in mist) and Maderas (lush and mysterious), rising majestically from the vast, shimmering expanse of Lake Nicaragua, the largest lake in Central America. Ometepe is this vision, and exploring it felt like stepping onto the set of Jurassic Park, minus the dinosaurs (though the wildlife is incredible!).
