It was long. Maybe you could split the groups in ones with a boat trip and ones without. The ones without could leave sooner.

The bus ride is long but there is a break and then the stop past Quebec at Montmorency Falls makes it a little adventure...a walk ...the spray of the falls. William was a charming and informative guide and bus driver Allen was steady and kind.

Starting with the hotel pickup to the departure, everything was as per schedule. Our guide William was knowledgeable and gave all the reqd info with humor. Driver was good too.

The logistical experience as expected. We really appreciated the hotel pick up and drop off option. We were hoping the tour guide in the bus to Quebec City would have talked to us more about the history of the area, including the importance of the Montmorency Falls. (We learned more about that from the displays at the waterfall park than from our guide, unfortunately.) The walking tour of the Old City with the local guide was interesting, but we wished that the timings were just a little different. We were traveling as a family with kids who were hungry when we arrived in Quebec City. (A suggestion for Viator: The walking tour could have been pushed to the last hour of the trip so the tour members that needed to, could have lunch, and those going on the river cruise could have a little time to explore before they needed to catch the boat.) We opted not to go on the river cruise so we could explore on our own which was the right choice for us. We enjoyed strolling through the charming cobblestone streets, exploring the shops, and appreciating the history of Quebec City. The tour bus was clean and comfortable and our driver was very good. Definitely pack snacks for the bus ride and know that the bottled water offered on the bus isn't free.

Our tour guide Felix was great, friendly and informative. Bus was very comfortable and had a restroom if needed. Quebec City is lovely, we also did boat tour and it was an enjoyable experience despite the extreme heat. My one negative is the multilingual aspect of the tour. Everything on the bus was said in English, French and Cantonese (?) and the brief walking tour once in Quebec was in English and French. In my opinion it is best to have a tour in each language even if tours alternate throughout the week. It felt like a waste of time for info to be said multiple times when we could have heard it once and done. I did appreciate the amount of free time we had between walking and boat tour, it was plenty of time to see some shops and enjoy a leisurely lunch.
