Very nice tour! Good way to experience beautiful city of Quebec in a day! We opted out of boat trip as we wanted more free time to explore city on our own. Liked that they picked you up at hotel and at end of tour also take you back. Highly recommend!

The pick up feature was perfect. Our driver was so friendly and on schedule. I was solo so I appreciated the window seat on the bus to enjoy scenery on drive. Each stop was perfectly timed. The tour guide was very interesting and personable. It was a great experience.

Absolutely adored this tour. Quebec City is one of the most beautiful towns I have seen and I loved every minute spent at it. It is a very long day, 6.30am pick up and returned to hotel around 8pm, but well worth it. There is an optional river cruise which I decided to do, but if I had my time again, I would skip the cruise and spend more time wandering Quebec. I didn’t get anything much out of the cruise so I’d save your money and enjoy a coffee and some more wandering around Quebec. And my other tip is - if you can spare the time, go for the weekend. I really wish I had! I also think if you can find a tour that skips the Falls and gives you more time in Quebec, do that. The falls are OK, but Quebec is better. Loved it.

Good way to see the highlights of Quebec City. William was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. We had a rainy afternoon, so we added the boat trip, it was a good way to continure to see the sights and keep dry.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Quebec City and Montmorency Falls. Quebec City was beautiful, it was an incredible experience. We dined on Rue du Petit Champlainin at the Le Lapin Suate restaurant and it was delicious. And every visitor has to try the Classic Caramel popcorn at Boutique Mary's Popcorn Shop, best we have ever tasted! The Montmorency Falls was a nice stop. Our guide, William, was funny and made the 13hour RT journey a pleasant experience. He shared a lot Montréal history and interesting fun facts. Thanks William and recommend this tour.

When I read the reviews before booking this excursion, a lot of people complained about the long day and how many hours of it were spent on the bus. Here's the thing - as long as you are aware of it ahead of time and are okay with it, you will love this opportunity to see Quebec City! Things to know: - The hotel pick-up and drop-off was great and Viator was excellent with communicating what time pick-up would occur. - The bus makes a stop on the way to QC for a restroom break and a chance to get breakfast at McDonald's. It does not stop on the way back but there is a restroom on the bus if needed. - We had a hard time deciding whether to do the optional 90 minute boat ride. We decided to and paid for it, then almost backed out because we wanted more time to explore the quaint cobblestone streets and many shops. In the end we went forward with the boat ride, thinking we probably wouldn't have spent another 1.5 hours walking around. The boat ride was relaxing and enjoyable, with informative commentary along the way. No regrets on forgoing more time walking around QC. - You don't have to take the funicular to get up to the upper part of QC - there are stairs you can take, combined with walking uphill. Try to eat lunch in the upper part - it's less crowded and there are lots more restaurant options. - If you don't have time to spend several days in both Montreal and QC, this excursion is an excellent option to get a little taste of QC that you wouldn't otherwise have. We thought it was well worth the travel time and the cost of the trip and add-on boat ride.
