5.00A day full of discoveries: the Pompeii site is fascinating and you can feel the full story on the guided tour. The ascent of Vesuvius remains a highlight, with breathtaking panoramas of the region and the Bay of Naples. Special mention for the pizza workshop, friendly and gourmet, which allows to share a good time with the other participants. The organization was impeccable, everything was fluid and pleasant. If you like to combine culture, nature and Italian gastronomy, this experience is worth a visit!

3.00Pompeii was a very good experience. However, Vesuvius was a rush - we only had around 15 minutes at the top after we had gone all the way up/along the path. We would have liked at least 30 minutes or longer to fully enjoy the experience at the top, and have a drink. Also, the listing was incorrect - when clicking on 'mange my booking' to look at the booking details, it states that a pizza making class is included. This was not included at all!

I left my cell phone on the bus and thanks to the help of the office, and Massimo in particular, I was able to recover it. If my mobile could, I would also leave a positive review! 3.00Pros, the guide for Pompéi was knowledgeable. Not enough time to fully explore the site. The salad I had for lunch was fresh and excellent, husband’s pasta average. Crowd control and as well managed. Cons, tour was supposed to be from 8-4. communication with the tour company was poor. I had to call them to get info on the pick up point the evening before. We were picked up at 10:10. They asked me if I spoke Italian and when I said no they hung up on me. A few minutes later they started to text me on what’s App. It took sometime to sort it all out. Group you are picked up with is not the group you tour with as they mix the groups at the site. There was no direction as to where we would be dropped off in Naples until we actually got there. The Vesuvius portion was super disappointing as they basically drop you off at the trail head and tell you it is an independent experience. They gave us 1.5 hours to hike to the crater and return. No time to linger or talk to the mountain guides at the top.so you are basically paying for the bus up and down the mountain and the ticket into the park.
