Before entering Pompeii, enjoy a stop at a traditional cameo workshop, where skilled artisans demonstrate the intricate craft of carving precious shells by hand. This is also a convenient opportunity to use restroom facilities before exploring the ruins.
Please note: Tours in your selected language are guaranteed with a minimum of 6 participants. If the minimum is not met, an English tour or audio guide will be offered, depending on availability.

An amazing and interactive experience of Pompeii

5.00The experience exceeded my expectations at every turn. The tour guide, Tomasso, was amazing. Everything was explained in detail and in an interesting way, in really good English for an Italian. The fee is well worth it, and includes arranged transport from the centre of Napoli and back, access to the city and antiquaries (no waiting in line). The crowd is the the right size, nobody was left far from the guide. The bus picked us up around 11 in the morning, we got back around 14:30. The length of the tour itself was just above two hours not including transport. And it was just enough time to experience the highlights of Pompeii in a comfortable pace. The guide made the atmosphere feel epic, constantly interacting with guests in fun ways. This experience is best for anybody interested in Roman history, archeology. But even if you aren't, you will probably be entertained as everything is explained in a very fun way.

5.00Excellent tour. Efficient pick up. Whizzed down to Pompeii. Our guide was great -very informative and we saw the ‘must sees’ we had expected in our 2 hour walk. Then whizzed back to the central drop off point. 10:30 -14:30.

5.00Amazing experience. I usually dont like going on tours with a guide but am so glad I booked a tour and got Tomasi as a guide! Pompei is much bigger than I thought and Tomasi took us to all the must see places and explained very well. We got an earpiece so we could hear everything he said. Well organized trip.

4.00Our guides Thomas and Federica were excellent! The tour was well organized and very informative. Thomas did a great job painting a picture of what life was like in the village and what each ruined building once served. We were a bit uncomfortable when our guide, Thomas, used profanity and was inappropriate when we visited the brothel ruins. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time visiting the ruins of Pompeii!

5.00Tomas was very well educated on Pompeii and gave us plenty of information about the people and culture. He also kept us laughing with his anecdotes and examples. I am thankful we booked the tour as I am sure otherwise I would have missed many of the details Tomas was able to bring to attention.
