Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple
Tsukiji Hongan-ji, sometimes archaically romanized Hongwan-ji, is a Jodo Shinshu Buddhist temple located in the Tsukiji district of Tokyo, Japan. The temple is adjacent to Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
Tsukiji Jogai Market
The “outer market” (jogai-shijo) is a mixture of wholesale and retail shops that sell Japanese kitchen tools, groceries, and seafood, and many restaurants, especially sushi restaurants. Most of the shops in the outer market close by the early afternoon. Since they also close Sundays and Holidays are basically closed, go out plannnedly!

Amber was knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. She able to cater the tour flow based on our/my food interest/preferences. She also teach me a lot about Japanese culture specifically about temple and aheine etiquette. I really enjoy the Tsukiji tour with her.

I've booked many tours in many countries around Europe and Asia using the Viator app, and this tour guide Hiromi Y. was truly among the best. She was pleasant, patient, knowledgeable, and absolutely went above and beyond to personalize our experience. I will ask for her by name on future Japan tours, and you should too!

Akira was a great guide, both courteous and professional. He made sure that we enjoyed the temple tour, the fish market, and a delicious lunch. He is also a pro photographer, so he brought a camera and took posed and candid photos of our group. They turned out great. He sent the photos promptly and could not have been nicer. I highly recommend Akira as a Tokyo guide.

What a fabulous tour with the ever smiling, knowledgeable, and professional Amber our guide. Prepare for a feast for your senses with lunch, endless tastings and finishing with a delicious Matcha tea and pastries! Tip.. Skip breakfast as you will be offered many delicious tastings and the lunch is very generous! Amber took lovely photos throughout the whole tour and kindly sent them to us after. This was a great tour and we highly recommend both Amber and the tour operators who were very helpful in customising our trip especially for us. Both my husband and I highly recommend this tour. Many thanks.

She made the whole experience absolutely unforgettable with her knowledge of the area and her lovely, happy personality and good English. We ate delicious foods and could eat as much as we wanted, our advice is don't eat breakfast before this food lovers tour as it was non stop with lots of exciting new food experiences and Amber our guide made it very personal for us and what we wanted to do!
