  • Nice Way to See a Small Sample of Tuscany

I really enjoyed this day tour of Tuscany from Rome. Our guide Antonino was great and knowledgeable. The tour first stopped in Montepulciano which was my favorite. Unfortunately, I felt visiting Montepulciano was rushed, we didn't have much time to explore on our own. We then stopped for lunch, I agree with others, we just got small splashes of wine to try and the food was kind of underwhelming. We stopped in Pienza as well which was beautiful. Unfortunately, the day I was there, everything was closed. There was not much to do. My recommendation is give us more time in Montepulciano and less time in Pienza. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the tour and the stops.

Our visit to Tuscany was amazing. Natasha offered an unforgettable journey through the Tuscan countryside. She was very knowledgeable and offered candid, humorous insight into the people and culture of the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to to others. My only regret is that there was not more free time to wander the cities and vineyard.

  • Not really a wine tour

The lunch was mediocre at best. 5 measly sips of wine. Probably one glass of wine total. They really needed to have some bottles in the tables. The drive itself was nice and the tour guide was great.

Our tour guide Barbara was excellent and very informative. She was friendly and professional and entertaining as well as knowledgable. The lunch at the farmhouse was a bit of a let down as it felt impersonal, rushed and commercial. The driver Antonio was a good driver and we felt safe. Barbara have us very useful tips which has made our visit to Rome even better.

  • Four stars could have been five stars if they would do the first village last

They should go to the last village first and stay for about 45 minutes. That is all you need there. Then to lunch. wished they would have said more about the wines they were serving , would have bought some wine if I’ve known what the names were. they lost a lot of sales by not doing so . Then after that they should have gone to the first village instead and stopped halfway through the village and let everybody have an hour to an hour and a half to shop then continued on with the tour up at the top of the hill and not stay there but 10 to 15 minutes because that is all you need up there a church, a well ,and a view of the valley below. All the shops are down below, and there was no stopping so that you could do any shopping there felt sorry for the village loss of income . overall, did enjoy the trip. They just need to tweak some of these things to make it more enjoyable.

  • Fantastic Tuscany Tour

The day trip out to Tuscany was exceptional. Antoine and Natascia our bus driver and guide got us safely out to Montepulicano and Pienza and provided a lovely guide on the area. Once we got to Montepulicano, our guide Sara was very knowledgeable and explained all about the history, only downside was the magical mist that blocked the view. The wine tasting and lunch was exceptional and the hospitality truly amazing. The final stop in Pienza was amazing small place but the mist cleared and awesome views in every direction, perfect place for the proposal. I can't speak highly enough of the tour, the size of our group was perfect not too many people and for the cost of the tour was definitely worth the money.

  • Beautiful Day in Tuscany and Montipulciano!

Natascia was probably the best tour guide I have had in a while! She was very upbeat for a 12 hour tour! Very knowledgable and entertaining! Spent the majority of the time we were on the bus talking about the history of the places we were going along with tips and tricks to make our visit in those particular places great along with tips around Rome that i used for the rest of my travel which were very helpful! Antonio our bus driver gets all the credit in the world too! We had the worst fog that day for our whole trip and he got us through the winding roads of tuscany and montipulciano safely!! 10/10 for these 2 guides I highly reccommend this trip to anyone!!!

This was my second trip with City Wonders, tour guide Flabio was an excellent tour guide. I loved seeing the Christmas markets in Montepulciano. I plan to go back by myself to continue exploring this place. The pasta we got and wine were good as well. Pretty awesome experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience through the Tuscan country side with our guide Barbara. So much fun and knowledge shared, I feel blessed. Great visits through Montepulciano, smaller villages, great wine tasting place, great food and company. A perfect day. Driver Antonio navigated narrow streets expertly and safely. Ample breaks for restrooms, food, shopping etc.. Even in winter time Tuscany is a must see. Highly recommend this company, this guide and this driver. What a combo!!! Ben Fatto!
