Andrea was such a funny, personable and knowledgeable tour guide. He told us funny stories to keep us entertained throughout the trip which made the trip even more enjoyable. Throughout the whole trip I saw amazing sites, small towns, and every person/tour guide we encountered were so friendly. Great way to spend the day!

Andrea was a fantastic guide & host. Very personable and knowledgeable. Tour was great. Beautiful countryside and we had plenty of time at each location. We knew there would be a lot of walking, but we were not prepared for the massive climb in Montepulciano. Due to knee replacements and a bad back, we had to take a little detour to avoid the biggest climb. Had we known, we would have arranged for the Hop on Hop off tour once we were there.

The tour was great. Myself and my family had a great time. Highlights were Montepulciano and the wine tasting. Pienza was also beautiful. Be prepared to walk on this trip. It has several stopping points, but you will absolutely walk. One downside was that the stop for breakfast was very short, leading to a challenging trek to lunch. When you stop for breakfast, do not spend too much time in the gift shop at the front. Go straight to the back where the food and coffee is. There will be another stop at this gift shop later in the tour and the next opportunity to eat will be the wine tasting unless you eat at your destination stops. The wine tasting and lunch was great. Shopping in both Montepulciano and Pienza is AMAZING. There are some lovely stores with lovely people in them. There is something for everyone in each site. Our tour guides, Semih and Chiara were wonderful. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and funny! We enjoyed their guidance and would absolutely tour with them again. Overall, I recommend this trip 100%. Next time, I would bring some snacks with me!!

The bus tour of Tuscany was a beautiful day of exploration, although the excursion is quite long (about 12 hours in total). The departure was by bus with our guide Samy. After a two-hour drive, with a welcome coffee/toilet break, we visited a vineyard located in a beautiful setting. However, the quality of the wine and the meal on site disappointed us a little – nothing catastrophic, but it was certainly not the best meal of our trip, and the cleanliness left something to be desired (even a few ants in honey). That said, the view was superb, and the atmosphere pleasant. We then visited Montepulciano, a charming hilltop village. The guided tour was interesting, but the free time was very short (barely 30 minutes), which did not allow us to really explore the village at our own pace. Then head to Pienza, a small Tuscan gem. We had time to have a gelato, enjoy the view, and relax on a terrace. The scenery throughout the day is absolutely beautiful – this is really the highlight of the tour. The guide, Samy, was polite and available, but very discreet. He didn’t really offer any explanations during the trips, which would have been appreciated to better understand Tuscan culture. He shared some useful suggestions for the rest of our trip, which was appreciated. In short: a good option if you have little time and want to get an overview of Tuscany in a day. But if you really want to explore these beautiful villages in depth, plan more time and ideally, more targeted visits.

Our guide was good but the tour itself was just a never ending tourist trap. The towns were beautiful but you could tell the economies were on life support. It was honestly depressing. The bus was the worst one we’ve been on in our three weeks in Italy and the wine was mediocre at best. The pours were also insulting considering the cost of tickets. The 8 samplings we had amounted to about one glass of wine. The owners were welcoming but everyone else was unpleasant.
