Piazza dei Miracoli
Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.
Battistero di San Giovanni
The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli. The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. The sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.

Elizabeth and Nicholas were absolutely amazing! The trip to Pisa and Florence was unforgettable, and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and cared for the entire time. One of the best tours I’ve taken—highly recommend this Viator experience!

The pickup at our hotel was perfecto!, for such an early trip that was a 3hr drive. The sights were amazing! In both Pisa and Florence! Agnes was amazing as was our Florence expert guide. Now the opportunities for improvement, the little Toyota van just doesn't have the suspension to traverse the bumpy highway out of Rome into Tuscany, once you hit Tuscany, the roads are much smoother. It was jaw rattling for the first ~90 minutes, a Benz would have handled it better than the Toyota. Lastly, you are in a confined shared space for 6 hours, and our driver had the worst case of overwhelming Halitosis that has offended the nostrils in many decades. It was just a bit much to overlook, both time spent and considering the cost per person for a small group tour...premium cost should premium experience!

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Agnes and Giuseppe were truly spectacular and beyond attentive. It was a 2 hour trip from Rome to Pisa and then we continued to Florence. Throughout the whole journey we got constant attention to our needs and comfort. We were very well taken care of. Agnes got us a lunch reservation at Pinocchio's Restaurant in Florence where the service and the food were absolutely awesome! In Florence we met with Giovanni who gave us a great educational tour of the city. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. This was definitely 5 star experience!

This was a great way to do Florence and Pisa as a day trip from Rome. We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was very convenient. It’s a long day so the tour guide makes all the difference and Malak was great. She made us feel very comfortable from the start. There were only 4 of us which felt very personal. The other couple spoke primarily French and she seamlessly transitioned between languages without making us feel like we missed anything. She arranged for separate tour guides in Florence which felt like we had a very individual experience. She arranged lunch which was really good and kept us moving to see the sights without feeling rushed. She stopped at great spots for pictures and was happy to take some pictures of us along the way . Anthony was a great driver - he navigated Italian traffic expertly . I highly recommend this excursion. I wish we could have Malak and Anthony as tour guides for other stops in Italy.

Very good and safe transport from Rome to Pisa, Florence and return to Rome. Maria and driver were great and attentive. Maria provided lots of info about Pisa. We met up with Giovanni in Florence for a more detailed walking tour. Giovanni was great and provided lots of information. It would be great if Maria had a microphone and provided some information about what we were passing on the ride to Florence and ride back to Rome. Having this information will allow a better and interactive trip rather than silence. We would suggest to introduce the group to each other. We had an all American group and after first rest stop we shared stories the entire trip making it fun. It was great that she made the effort to make a restaurant reservation for our group, however, the staff at the restaurant vecchio metcato was abrupt and somewhat rude. The behavior of the waiter kind of ruined the morning, however, the afternoon with Giovanni helped everyone forget about that experience. I felt the tour was worth the price!
