Piazza dei Miracoli
Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.
Battistero di San Giovanni
The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli. The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. The sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.

Risshii was a wonderful guide. The trip was well organized and maximized our time on each location. Our guide in Florence was outstanding. As a native, he provided insights and anecdotes which really added to the trip!

Requires a lot of walking. You’ll be needing more than 3 hours to visit the interesting sights. If you are short of time just have a quick lunch of pasta or pizza., steak lunch needs more waiting There are more places you can eat further in the plaza.

Buckle up — it’s going to be a loooong day! The ride itself is pretty quiet, which is great if you need to catch up on sleep (or practice your “I’m totally awake” tourist face). Thankfully, there’s a coffee stop to keep spirits high and eyelids open! ☕ Our guide Stacey was an absolute gem — friendly, patient, and full of fun facts. Roberto, our driver, was the kind of guy who just makes the day smoother without saying much — calm, kind, and always on time. Since it’s a small group tour, you end up bonding with your fellow travelers — even if you don’t speak the same language. Smiles and snacks are universal! Pisa was short but packed with history — plus the mandatory “holding up the tower” photo, of course. Florence was the star of the show! Our local guide Giovanni had us walking through time like we were extras in a Renaissance movie. Even the rain couldn’t spoil the vibe — if anything, it added a dramatic touch to the experience. Long day? Definitely. Worth it? Absolutely. I’d do it again — just with an extra espresso next time! ☕✨

Our tour ended up being around 13 hours we had wonderful guides and a driver saw all the highlights of Florence and Pisa none of the fluff. We were even able to order our lunch ahead of time so that we didn’t have to wait and was able to spend more time in Florence.

It was an amazing trip except it started raining hard on us when ww got to Pisa. We are all drenched. Can hardly hear the tour guide as well, would be nice if he would have mic and us headphones like the Florence walking tour and gallery. The drive from Rome is 3 hrs with a lot of bumpy roads as well. We felt that tourguide should have mentioned that there is a market in Florence for food options instead of just offering a reservation on a sit down resto. Big price difference and we all felt we could have enjoyed the variety and town feel food from the market plus way cheaper. But overall, tour was organized.
