Departure from Rome for a full-day tour to Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance” and Pisa where you will see “Piazza dei Miracoli” with its famous Leaning Tower (external visit) and you will visit the Baptistery and the “Duomo”, all monuments in shining white marble. At 12 pm departure toward Florence, the legendary city of artists and architects from the 14th to 17th centuries. Stop for lunch. Around 2:30 pm meet with your professional guide for a walking tour of Florence, visit the masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo, including the famous David located inside at the “Accademia”. See the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its beautiful dome projected by Brunelleschi and admire the Baptistery as well as Giotto’s Bell Tower. The tour ends with a breathtaking view from “Piazzale Michelangelo”, a superb panoramic view of the Tuscan capital, including “Ponte Vecchio”, Arno River and the “Duomo”.

Piazza dei Miracoli
Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.
Battistero di San Giovanni
The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli. The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. The sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.

5.00We had a wonderful tour to Pisa and Florence with our guide, Pepe (Giuseppe), and our driver, Alessandro. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Pepe was exceptionally knowledgeable and well-prepared, and thanks to his explanations we learned so much about both cities. Alessandro made the journey smooth and comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. It was truly a beautiful day and an unforgettable experience.

5.00JB and Luigi our guide and driver were awesome!! Both of whom made the day even better. We were in a small group of 4 and we had time to go around Pisa and take lots of photos. When we got to Florence we had lunch at the recommended restaurant (I wouldn’t go here again personally but this is a separate issue not linked to the tour) there were plenty of other restaurants but we just didn’t know at the time. The official Florence tour with the official guide was exceptional and Alice was lovely, it is a long walking tour (2hours) but there were plenty of places to rest if you need it. I can’t put in words how beautiful Florence is so if you have a chance, do this tour!!

5.00It’s a very long day, but so many beautiful sights. Arif, our coordinator, was very professional, friendly and polite. He also took some great photos for us!! The guide, Giovanni, in Florence was also very knowledgeable. If you only have only one day to visit Florence, this is the way to do it.

5.00If you are hesitant to book this trip, book it! Our driver and guide were incredible. They picked us up from our hotel in the center of Rome. The driver always had the van cooled off waiting on us and JB our tour guide went above and beyond to answer all questions. We stopped for a quick cappuccino and croissant for breakfast about halfway to Pisa. Then, in Pisa we went into the cathedral and the Baptistry. We had plenty of time to take pictures of the leaning tower and walk around. Afterwards, we headed down to Florence. Our guide secured us a reservation to a trattoria and the food was outstanding. The statue of David and the guided tour of Florence was a wonderful part of this tour. To top it off our driver and tour guide took us to a scenic overlook of Florence. Amazing experience. Would recommend without hesitation.
