Departure from Rome for a full-day tour to Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance” and Pisa where you will see “Piazza dei Miracoli” with its famous Leaning Tower (external visit) and you will visit the Baptistery and the “Duomo”, all monuments in shining white marble. At 12 pm departure toward Florence, the legendary city of artists and architects from the 14th to 17th centuries. Stop for lunch. Around 2:30 pm meet with your professional guide for a walking tour of Florence, visit the masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo, including the famous David located inside at the “Accademia”. See the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its beautiful dome projected by Brunelleschi and admire the Baptistery as well as Giotto’s Bell Tower. The tour ends with a breathtaking view from “Piazzale Michelangelo”, a superb panoramic view of the Tuscan capital, including “Ponte Vecchio”, Arno River and the “Duomo”.

What To Expect
Piazza dei Miracoli
Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.
Battistero di San Giovanni
The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli. The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. The sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.

5.00We were so happy with our tour leader Nariman, driver Roberto and Florence Tour guide Giovanni. It was a very long day but everything went perfect. From communication pre-tour to confirm pick-up time and address, to picking us up on time and communicating via WhatsApp. Our tour leader Nariman was very knowledgeable and engaging, even after a long trip. We had a wonderful and comfortable drive via private van from Rome to Pisa then Florence and returning back to Rome. Highly recommend this tour for those basing their stay in Rome and would like to get a highlight tour of key places to visit in Pisa and Florence with a guided tour explaining every detail. We are so happy we chose this tour, we would not have been able to see everything if we went by train and did it ourselves.

5.00Our tour guide was the expert Nariman with very proficient driver Luigi. We had a running joke that today was Luigi's first day on the job. Both Nariman and Luigi did a fantastic job explaining things along the drive and even came prepared with a printed dossier of documents to enhance his explanations. They were very engaging ensuring each member of our group had a wonderful experience. Nariman assistaed with taking pictures and knew all the good spots to get the best photos, including at Pisa. The local Florence guide Giovani was an excellent addition to the team and completed what would be an exceptionally memorable day.

5.00The day trip to Pisa and Florence was excellent. Jazzy was such a friendly and caring guide. He was easy to talk to and flexible with adapting our route to suit people. We had a good amount of time for food. He knew about the area well and was very hospitable. I travelled solo as my travel partner was unwell and Jazzy took extra care to stay with me.
