If you are in Tenerife in February, be sure to do the almond blossom walk. You can supervise them. But we did them ourselves. Rent a car and go to Santiago de Teide and Valle de Ariba. At the tourist office you can easily get information. Better price and definitely doable.

The Almond blossom guided walk was fabulous, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide Andy was knowledgeable and very familiar with the area. Small group and we all got on well. Plenty of opportunity to take photos of the stunning scenery! We found a nice shaded spot for lunch (we took our own) Some walking experience is a help, and I'd suggest using walking poles for the climbs and decent, plus negotiating some of the rocky route (bring your own or rent them from Andy) make sure you wear sturdy walking shoes too and bring plenty of water. I'm hoping to return to Tenerife next year and will book on one of Andy's other walks! All in all, highly recommended 👌

This is the second walk I've done with Andy, the first being a breath taking walk in the Anaga mountains back in Feb 2022. This almond blossom walk was just as enjoyable. Andy has a wealth of knowledge to share about the flora and fauna of Tenerife and there was so much more to our walk than 'just' the almond blossom trail. A particular highlight for me was the amount of bird life we saw, including flocks of blue chaffinches and a close encounter with a greater spotted woodpecker. There were a variety of different terrains on this particular walk including pine forests & lava fields, as well as the plains covered with almond trees in bloom. I'd recommend Andy's walks to anyone who wants to really experience the natural beauty Tenerife has to offer and will continue to book on whenever I return to Tenerife!

An amazing day out. Andy picked us up from our hotel bang on time and drove us to the start of the trail. We had a fantastic 4 hour walk with 4 other likeminded people, beautiful scenery and a very knowledgeable guide!!! Would definitely recommend this and we will certainly back next year to tick off a few more of Andy’s walks!!!

I did 5 walks this winter, including the Almond Blossom trail, and really enjoyed them all. Andy is a great guide, with extensive knowledge of the Island and will adapt the walk on the day if necessary, in order to find the sun! Will be back for more later in the year. Highly recommend.

This was one of 5 fabulous walks with Andy this February. The landscape kept changing, the blossom was out and we crossed a lava field. Perfect pace, long enough to know you’ve walked, slow enough to enjoy the views with the added bonus of pick up and drop off, not to mention Andy’s dry wit. I met interesting people from different countries so the chat was mighty. Highly recommended.

An envigorating and scenic walk of just under 6 miles. The Blossom was lovely. An entertaining guide and good company of people from all over the world. This was our second walk in a week with Andy, and, although quite challenging, both were very enjoyable. I was very glad I took my walking pole and good walking trainers, or boots, are essential as it was slippery and uneven at times. Made Tenerife much more worth visiting.

Andy is very knowledgeable, yet doesn’t talk too much. We saw magnificent Teide, ventured through lava and smelled gentle almond blossom. It was wonderful!
