5.00Visiting Angkor Wat with our guide Hout was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Cambodia. This was not just a tour — it was a deep, inspiring journey through history and culture. Huot was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He didn’t just recite facts, but brought the temples to life with stories, symbolism, and context that made everything meaningful and easy to understand. We learned about the Khmer Empire, Hindu and Buddhist traditions, hidden details in the carvings, and the true significance of Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm. The pace was perfect, well thought out, and never rushed. We avoided crowds when possible, found amazing viewpoints for photos, and had time to truly absorb the atmosphere of each place. The guide and the driver Bo were attentive, friendly, and very respectful of our interests and energy levels.
