A great trip. Saw dophins, seals albatrosses, wallabies, caves and more. Wore rain gear but did not get wet. I am a senior and had no problem. The lunch and morning tea were delicious. We were well taken care of

A lot to see on the way to Bruny and back. Plenty of animals on the side of the road and when on the boat ride. Taking the ferry while on the bus is super fun. The boats are powerfully and new so no concerns over running into issues. The dolphins and sea lions are probably the highlight of the trip and the food and tea coffee are good in amount and size. Isabel is an excellent tour guide and driver and can tell she likes what she does! She makes jokes and is friendly when you ask her questions. The one “bad” thing is there are no microphones and speakers on the boat so sometimes is hard ro hear and understand what the guides are saying is you’re sitting in the front part of the boat.

We had a lovely day journeying to Bruny and cruising around the coastline to admire the geological wonders and wildlife. Dress warmly in layers (knit cap, jacket, a rain poncho, and gloves) because temperatures on the Tasmanian Sea are chilly, even in summer months. We had a knowledgeable guide and a humorous cruise captain to entertain us for the outing. It was interesting to hear explanations of the type of rocks and their formation. The tour wrapped with a lovely lunch and trip back into Hobart.

Shamed my seafaring ancestors by getting sea sick. Not the fault of the tour who were really great in supporting me. Got to see dolphins and albatrosses, the sea cliffs and caves were amazing. A bit disappointed that we didn’t get to see more of the island. Really would have liked more time to see the lighthouse and see if we could spot some animals. Big shout out to the staff at the restaurant who were excellent and for having sanitary products available if you’re caught out.

What a fantastic experience all up! The bus trip to and from Hobart was comfortable and driver drove at nice safe speed. Ferry trip across to Bruny was easy. Stopped at the Neck to walk the stairs which was a great break. Once at Adventure Bay everything was so well organised. Lovely fresh muffin and tea for morning tea. Once on boat - well that was the highlight. Not being a massive boat person I was worried about where we were going. Everyone was given ginger tablets for sea sickness which I highly recommend. Sat at the back of boat which was great. It really was an adventure on the sea! It was a bit choppy but the boat is designed to handle it all. The crew were very good and informative, we saw dolphins, birds and the best part being the seals. The cruise goes for 3 hours and does travel along at speed for a bit to get to and from the seals, but I am so glad I did this trip as it was a real sea and nature adventure. Lunch back at Adventure Bay was really good, fresh fish, chips and salad. Highly recommend doing this. If you have younger kids or suffer badly from seasickness then probably chose another tour, or sit at the back of the boat.
