  Great experience if you like walking for 2 and a half ours and a little bit of climbing in a canyon Afterwards you can refresh yourself in a lake with a litte waterfall Very nice food where there is a a swing above the water

  I was very sceptical as this only had one review and i never would normally book anything unless i could get a clear idea of what this entails. Luckily i can do that for you now! So, we got picked up from Marmaris on time in the car around 10am as we are the only ones they have to get. They only do private tours since Covid and the guide wore the mask in the car. We also wore masks. The drive is around 1 hour to the home of the guides where you change to the van. This has all the helmets and drinks in. They have two helpers during the summer who bring the dogs along. They are really cute. They also have a puppy on site. They were very welcoming and made sure we had plenty of water. They bring the dogs along with us as there are sometimes snakes in the water, and the noise of the dogs scares them away. You will see some wildlife on the trip. Crabs, frogs and fish - we didn't see any snakes, so the dogs worked! Once we set off it is around 20 minutes in the van to the spot. You are given a helmet. No wet suit as it's too hot. The water is refreshingly cool to get into. such lovely scenery. You start at a small pool to cool off after the walk up. Then start through the water and up some falls. I think there were two or three spots where we climbed up on the ropes. Some rock climbing involved at parts as well. You also have the option to jump off a rock into a deep pool at one point. As we managed to get up quickly, they took us a little further up the canyon and to a larger waterfall with pool. A really good sight. The female guides English was great and the males was OK. She led most of the activity. The man mostly sets up the ropes for the climbs. They are very welcoming also. Once the trip was finished, we made our way back down the canyon to the van and back to the guides house. They made us lunch which was late in the day (so make sure you have a big breakfast). It was fantastic food. They told us they normally take people to a restaurant but because of Covid it wasn't possible. I thought this was great. We had soup, meatballs, salad, bread, and spaghetti. We were full afterwards. They even gave us some soft drinks and offered us beer which was no extra charge. Before heading home they took us to a lake nearby and showed us where we could see the real Turkey and some cheap places to stay. They even showed us a cash machine where we could get money out for the video as we didn't have any cash left. They didn't need to do this for us, but drove us out of their way so we are really grateful for this. We got back to the hotel around 7.30pm You have the option to buy the video from the day which they do on a gopro. This is 250TL. One of the most expensive we have paid but worth it. They do not take card so it has to be cash. If you are going to do something outside of the norm on holiday i would choose this, and if we were asked if we would do it again? ABSOLUTELY. We are not ones for tourist areas and activities so this was something we really wanted to do. They are such lovely people and I have never met guides who really care as much about the enjoyment of the customer as much as they do. They really are very welcoming and made the day really enjoyable.

  We booked this Brendan at Excursions Mamaris. The pick up was on time and we had to swap coaches at one point as i guess the pick ups get everyone and then separate to the appropriate tour. We were on the coach for 90 mins from Mamaris/Icmeler. The drop off was at a tiny remote village where the rafting and canyoning meeting place is. We had a decent breakfast of fruit, bread, tea and eggs. Then we had a short demo video, which looked a bit scary and i was thinking it was perhaps the wrong choice of excursion with my 15 year old daughter with fancy nails. However i couldn't have been more wrong. After signing the waiver we got into a minibus with Ayca, Fatih and Irmak who own and run the company. They made us feel really welcome and genuinely looked they enjoyed doing their job. We started the canyoning at a point int he river where the water was flowing fairly slowly but as we made our way up the river the white water started. we were all wading through it without a problem. On reaching a waterfall we were able to use the rope swing to leap into the water or climb the rocks to jump in from about 2 metres. scrambling up the rocks some more we came to a smaller deeper pool with a higher cliff jump - about 3 metres. My wife and i are 45 my kids are 15 and 13 - we all jumped in no problem. We then made our way back down the river until the first waterfall where we abseiled in the waterfall. Amazing. Once we got back to the van we went for some lunch which was pasta, chicken and salad. An afternoon of scrambling up and down another canyon. If you have active kids you should definitely do this. very safe, excellent staff. really good fun. I was initially concerned my wife and daughter would hate it but they loved it, something really different and really helps you bod with your family. It is not an all inclusive trip so you will need to pay for water, snacks and other drinks but all reasonably priced. Wear a swimming costume and light shorts & tshirt. definitely have beach shoes. No need for anything fancy or posh. You will get very wet. but perfect when the temp is + 35 Would absolutely recommend it. Thanks Ayca, Fatih and Irmak.
