Escape London's crowds for a day trip to the picture-perfect Cotswolds for lunch. You'll visit a region that is forever England, seemingly unchanged by the modern world and famous for its beautiful villages and rolling hills. There will be time to visit quaint villages such as Burford before enjoying a fabulous two-course lunch in a traditional English hotel restaurant.

Burford
Our full-day tour begins in the charming town of Burford, often called the ‘gateway to the Cotswolds’. Its beautiful high street is lined with buildings made from every shade of Cotswold stone. You'll have time to explore the local tea rooms, browse unique shops, and soak up the historic atmosphere.
Bibury
Next, we visit Bibury – often called the 'Prettiest village in the Cotswolds', a title given by designer William Morris. Set along the clear waters of the River Coln, Bibury is full of postcard-perfect charm. We’ll enjoy a short walking tour through the village before arriving at the Swan Hotel, a lovely place to relax and take in the view.

Trip itself was great; however, guide though very knowledgeable, talked too much on bus - especially return trip to London.

We had lovely tour of Cotswold. Our Tour Guide Rowan was excellent. She explained the tiny details of the Cotswold villages in a vivid manner. She is highly recommended as a Tour Guide. We enjoyed a lot and Cotswold will be imprinted in our memories forever.

Rowen was a fantastic guide. She told lots of interesting stories and history of the cotswold areas. She was also very helpful with directions back to our hotel. Pedro, the bus driver was very competent and patient in high traffic conditions.

Our tour guide, Rowan, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and had plenty of quirky facts and stories to share as well. She also took care and the time to ensure everyone knew how to get to where they needed to after the tour ended, which I thought was a lovely touch. Our driver, Pietro, was also great - he always managed to find a way to pick us up and drop us down on time, and in very busy spots! The coach was comfortable, and importantly, air-conditioned! The villages were stunning/charming, and the lunch was very good. If I had any criticism it would be that there was not a huge amount of time to explore, although that was very much impacted by the amount of traffic on the road (very heavy, which obviously the tour operators are unable to control). Overall, a great introduction to the Cotswolds!

The coach ride is quite long and traffic can be very heavy. The town's are small and not designed for tourists
