Escape London's crowds for a day trip to the picture-perfect Cotswolds for lunch. You'll visit a region that is forever England, seemingly unchanged by the modern world and famous for its beautiful villages and rolling hills. There will be time to visit quaint villages such as Burford before enjoying a fabulous two-course lunch in a traditional English hotel restaurant.

Burford
Our full-day tour begins in the charming town of Burford, often called the ‘gateway to the Cotswolds’. Its beautiful high street is lined with buildings made from every shade of Cotswold stone. You'll have time to explore the local tea rooms, browse unique shops, and soak up the historic atmosphere.
Bibury
Next, we visit Bibury – often called the 'Prettiest village in the Cotswolds', a title given by designer William Morris. Set along the clear waters of the River Coln, Bibury is full of postcard-perfect charm. We’ll enjoy a short walking tour through the village before arriving at the Swan Hotel, a lovely place to relax and take in the view.

Wonderful way to see the cotwolds. Rowan did an excellent job in the narration of all the key points of interest and was very knowledgeable about each stop. Carlos was a safe and efficient driver.

It was an amazing day in the Cotswolds with stops in 3 villages, each unique. Rowan was an amazing tour guide and Carlos did an outstanding job driving the mini bus. Highly recommend this tour!

I'll never travel with viator again. Nor will I ever recommend traveling with viator to others. Forgotten to the age where I can thankfully travel a little bit and look forward to it but I'll never use viator again. I think the practice is to have a"courtesy call" to the client, however all you do is call and hang up which is pointless. I was 2 minutes away from the bus and got hung up on.

It is a long ride out there. Wanted to spend more time in the first and last village. The first had the interesting church and by far the best shops. No public rest room so necessitated a cafe purchase. To see all this in an hour is not possible. The last stop was also charming and would have liked to linger there awhile. So skip the lunch break in a so-so town and let us spend more time in the other places where we can find lunch on our own The driver and tour guide were very good. Enjoyed all her anecdotes. Felt very safe with the driver. Appreciated her concern when my husband got lost and waited for him.

Trip itself was great; however, guide though very knowledgeable, talked too much on bus - especially return trip to London.

We had lovely tour of Cotswold. Our Tour Guide Rowan was excellent. She explained the tiny details of the Cotswold villages in a vivid manner. She is highly recommended as a Tour Guide. We enjoyed a lot and Cotswold will be imprinted in our memories forever.
