What an amazing day with this tour group! Mohamed and Ali #2 were our guides and they showed us a great time! We booked our trip last minute after arriving in Diani and Mohamed was quick to respond, pick up time was prompt and the drive very comfortable. The boat crew were friendly and helpful. We were provided a light breakfast for an early departure. Mohamed allowed us to enjoy the dolphin watching and tour by holding our belongings and phones and to our surprise we had the greatest photos and videos! A true professional! Ali was a wonderful guide for snorkeling and got us up close to the dolphins and made sure we were not tiring out. After our snorkeling we had a tasty lunch on the boat before heading to Wasini Village. We took small donations of notebooks and pencils. Tshirts and lollipops to give to these sweet children who were so grateful. I truly encourage doing this if you can. After the village we rode back to the mainland and were entertained with singing from the crew who made sure to include a Happy Birthday song to my Husband! Lastly we toured the Shimoni Caves, a very eye opening experience. I can not wait to visit again and join this tour group. Thanks Thanni Tours!

Many thanks to the whole team, and especially to Thani-for their kindness and care Thani informed me in advance about what to carry and even asked if I had any food allergies three days before the trip,so I was well prepared for everything. We were only five of us yet they still offered a private Swahili dhow tour for the same price! I was so surprised and happy,I could hardly believe it. The long snorkeling session was amazing! We had the privilege of spotting different species of fish, and the crystal clear water was absolutely stunning. The crew went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every moment, offering fruit, sodas and drinking water, and soft music on board We spotted dolphins, creating unforgettable memories. We also visited the local villages Mkwiru and Vumba where we gave out books and sweets to the school kids. The lunch at shimoni Village was delicious!Thank you once again,I highly recommend this trip especially with Thani,a local company owned by a young man who truly loves his community.

Am soo greatful to the team for their kindness and authenticity. The long snorkeling session was amazing,we had a wonderful time in their company. They went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We were lucky to see dolphins, turtles, and other beautiful marine species, creating unforgettable memories. We also loved the visit to the local village, where we gave out pencils and books to the school kids. If you’re visiting Wasini, consider bringing small supplies for the children, they are truly in need and appreciate every little gift. The Swahili cuisine lunch at Shimoni Village mainland was excellent. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience!

There were two of us on this tour and were very satisfied. They took care of wishes, saw dolphins, the food was super delicious. The village of Wasini was very welcoming. If you are planning to book this tour, please bring school supplies, clothes, sweets etc. for the children/residents. The joy is great and for us these are all normal things that are not so present there. The guides ask what is needed and you get information. Always happy with Thanni Tours, you are great. Thank you

The pick-up was done right on time, and the entire tour was perfectly organized from start to finish. The crew was super friendly and created a relaxed, fun atmosphere throughout the day. The snorkeling guides were excellent, knowledgeable, patient, and eager to show us the best sights, including stingrays, starfish, and vibrant coral reefs. And the highlight? We saw so many dolphins,it was truly magical! We also enjoyed soft drinks and fresh fruits on board, plus the added bonus of free WiFi. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience with nature and the ocean!

The wooden boats were spacious and beautifully crafted,a real charm on the water. As we stopped for snorkeling, dolphins appeared right beside us, making the moment truly magical. The marine life was incredible,we swam among countless tropical fish in stunning colors. Our guide, Ali, was friendly and welcoming, and they even provided free Wi-Fi onboard. Lunch was served on the mainland and it was absolutely delicious! The water was calm, crystal clear, and warm, perfect conditions for a relaxing and unforgettable adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip, especially watching the dolphins darting in and out of the water. Thanni was an amazing guide; his timing with the snacks was perfect, and he was well-versed in the area. I’m looking forward to doing this again soon, this time with friends or family!

Wow this was my second time going with Thanni Tours and it’s just keeps getting better ,I went with my friends from China and nature really favored us - we saw so many dolphins swimming so close to us ,it was magical ! The BBQ at the sandbanks very delicious and served in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend doing the private dhow experience. Yes it’s a bit more expensive, but totally worth it.we even had WiFi in the middle of the sea ,so we could share the moment live with friends and family.it was a special connection not just with the world but with nature .I can’t get enough of it -already planning to come back again in December.

A very amazing and authentic experience. So much time allocated to just enjoy the waters. We were not so lucky with a lot of Dolphins, but that’s just the beauty of nature, it’s unpredictable.. And oh, Ali our guide was simply the best!! And the singing and drums to end the day? Spectacular!

We were picked up right on time and taken to two incredible snorkelling spots, where we got to see a variety of beautiful fish. What a wonderful experience! The wooden boats were spacious and added a charming touch to the adventure. We were lucky to spot dolphins right by the boats during our snorkelling stop! The reefs, though showing some signs of bleaching from last year, are still vibrant with plenty of marine life. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and we can definitely recommend the tour.
