  We had a wonderful time biking through villages in the Luberon valley. Having the extra boost of power on an e-bike made the hills fun and totally doable!! Our guide Jo was fantastic and full of knowledge and energy. We felt lucky to be exploring with him on a beautiful Spring day in April. This was a great way to see a few different villages and even a Roman bridge in one day and get some exercise and history lessons along the way! Thank you Jo! :)

  I thoroughly enjoyed the full day e-bike tour in the Luberon region. We met Francoise, our driver and tour guide, in Avignon and took a 1 hour van ride to Bonnieux. The ride was very scenic down from Bonnieux to the valley of lavender, vineyards, and olive trees. We rode up to the castle in Lacoste (formerly owned by Pierre Cardin). Then back down to the valley to catch an old rail trail. We visited Domaine de la Citadelle Winery where Juergen gave us a tour of the world’s first cork removal toll museum. This was followed by a wine tasting with exceptional explanation of the various wines. After we rode up to Menerbes and had a wonderful lunch at the hilltop restaurant, Monsieur Tu. After lunch we descended back down to the valley and climbed back up to Bonnieux to end the tour. Enjoyed the explanations from our guide/driver Francoise. I highly recommend this e-bike tour through the Luberon region of Provence!

  We just did a full day bike tour to Luberon with Tom. It exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Tom is so passionate and knowledgeable and made it so interesting and fun! We are planning our next adventure with A la Francaise. Thank you Tom!

  This was a great way to see this amazingly beautiful agricultural area in Provence. The e-bikes were high quality and our guide, Francois, was great. Highly recommend!!

  What an amazing day! We had never ridden e-bikes before and it took a bit of getting used to but once we got the hang we had so much fun. And, truthfully, we bike a lot but never would have been able to make some of those hills. And our guide, Jos, was funny and interesting and a pleasure to be with. The landscape and people and wine were all great.

  We simply had the best time on our e-bike tour of the Luberon with Pierre as our guide! The scenery is stunning and the villages are such a pleasure to visit. We really enjoyed our stop for olive oil/wine tasting, had a fantastic lunch in Menerbes and made a nice stop in Lourmarin on our way back to Aix. It was the first time on an e-bike for some of us, which was very useful on some of the steeper climbs! Pierre is so kind and informative, I can’t imagine there being a more enjoyable guide. I would love to return with other friends and family and do it again, just delightful! Thank you Pierre!!
