This tour is for tourist who want to enjoy culture, heritage and life of Korean. We will visit the most popular attractions in Seoul. Furthermore, tasting of popular Korean foods provides more pleasure to you. You can enjoy city tour and Gourmet Tour for a day. We will visit Gyeongbokgung royal palace, Changing ceremony of Royal Guards, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong and etc. We will visit quality local restaurant, and taste Jinseng Chicken soup for lunch. For vegetarian, there are nice vegetarian restaurant. During the tour, we also enjoy Korean snacks or tea. For dinner, we will taste various kinds of street foods at Kwangjang market. For all above mentioned tour activities and foods are included in our tour and you don't need to reserve separate tickets for city tour and food tour. Our professional licensed English speaking guide supply hotel pick-up and drop-off service at any hotel in Seoul for customer's convenience.

What To Expect
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung palace is the first palace built in 1395 out of five palaces in Seoul in Joseon dynasty. This palace was built by fenhshui which is a traditional geological theory, The name of Gyeongbokgung palace means new dynasty would have big blessing and prospered forever. Geunjeongjeon Hall and Gyeonghoeru Pavilionare are national treasures in the palace, Geunjeongjeon Hall is the main building of the palace, most of major event like king’s inauguration ceremony and reception of ambassadors from foreign countries were held at this building. Gyeonghoeru Pavilion was used for the purpose of banquet and entertainment. Before tour of Gyeongbokgung palace, we will watch the Changing ceremony of Royal guards. Gyeongbokgung palace and changing ceremony of royal guard are closed on every Tuesday, so we will visit the other royal palace, Changdeokgung palace, every Tuesday. Changdeokgu palace is very beautiful palace and is listed on UNESCO cultural heritage.
National Folk Museum of Korea
You will see how the Korean lived from the birth to grave at this museum.The National Folk Museum of Korea is a museum that represents daily life and culture of Korea and is visited by more than two million people every year, and provide educational and cultural opportunities to better understand and experience the traditional Korean lifestyle.

5.00Bergen was the perfect guide. He was very informative during the tour and let you explore at your own place. The tour focuses on Seoul north of the Han river and all locations that were visited are all worth the trip. We had a great day weather wise which added to enjoyment. It is a full day and you are doing a lot of walking so plan accordingly. The motor coach was very comfortable and it is nice not having to worry about dealing with the Seoul traffic. I would recommend Bergen's tour very highly

5.00Bergen was AMAZING! He took us to great locations in and around Seoul, took great photos of us and just enriched the experience with details and history about South Korean Culture. The highlight of this tour was how empathetic Bergen was. I lost my passport (before this tour date), casually shared the story with Bergen, and he was so kind and nice enough to take us the police station to translate for our police report that was required by the embassy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a private, fun and warm experience!

5.00It was truly an honor having Bergen as our tour guide for Seoul and Nami Island! He was incredibly versatile—providing insightful historical and cultural context when needed, and sprinkling in fun anecdotes that made the experience even more enjoyable. Each meal he introduced us to was a culinary highlight—whether it was the comforting Samgye-tang, the famous dumplings from the knife-cut noodle lady featured on Netflix, or the delicious BBQ chicken we grilled ourselves, every bite felt authentic and full of flavor. Bergen also took us to beautiful, lesser-known spots we never would’ve discovered on our own, like charming historical homes, the stunning Garden of Morning Calm, and even a unique Starbucks in Korea that doesn’t display the usual logo outside. But beyond the itinerary, what truly made the experience special was Bergen himself. He’s patient, down-to-earth, and genuinely good-humored—qualities that made our first visit to Korea feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea!

5.00Bergen was an excellent tour guide, making concessions for my bad knee, but also adding in stops he thought we would like. We so enjoyed the day! He was early to meet us and we called it quits in the late afternoon, being exhausted from our overseas trip. It was a very comprehensive tour of Seoul, made personal by Bergen. Thank you!

5.00This was worth it! Bergen is such a great guide who is very knowledgeable in all the sites we visited. He took good care of me and was able to take me to all the sites without issue. This is the perfect itinerary to see major highlights in Seoul. Bergen is a seasoned guide who explained the history and current information of each location. He also was mindful on what I was interested in. The food was also awesome. I got to each the popular ginseng chicken soup and walking through the markets and eating the popular bites was definitely a treat.

5.00I’m a 55-year old solo traveler with 3 days to spend in Korea. This tour covers a lot of ground and gives a lovely history lesson at each stop. My favorite part was the market at dinner. So much food with so much going on…it’s a separate adventure. My tour guide was BERGEN. Bergen is someone that you feel like you’ve known your whole life even though you’ve just met him. I highly recommend this tour!
