Lake Butte Overlook
Start your morning off right with a magnificent view of Yellowstone Lake from above, the largest alpine lake in North America. We also see many bears in this area frequently.
Fishing Bridge - General Store
Stop for our in park meetup and first bathroom break at Fishing Bridge General Store at 9am

4.00The tour could have included Larimar Valley to make the tour of Yellowstone more complete. Otherwise, the itinerary was great. The tour guide requires more education and experience. If we did not talk or ask questions he would not have talked. In another 5yrs, he will be much more interesting and sure of himself

5.00Our guide, Cody, showed us many of the key sights in the Yellowstone lower loop. Plus, he had heard about a grizzly eating an elk that was a little bit off our intended path, but we drove there, and got out and could see down the ravine where, indeed, the grizzly was eating an elk! Picnic lunch was awesome. There was a fair amount of walking from the van to the sights, and getting in and out of the van. This trip gave us an excellent introduction to Yellowstone. We highly recommend Cody and his team!

5.00Our guide and driver, Darren, was exceptional!! He was passionate and very knowledgeable about Yellowstone. He educated our group about the park, the animals, the flora and fauna, water and thermal features in an easy to understand way. He was an entertaining storyteller! When our group wanted to stop to see something Darren stopped without hesitation. He also had skills in seeing and finding animals. We saw bison, mule deer, elk, and bear, as well as amazing water falls, thermal pots and geysers. I highly recommend Covered Ground and Darren, in particular!!
