What To Expect
Swiss Alps
First, we drive with the minivan to the starting point of our unique hike. Summer: Our main destination is the breathtaking Göscheneralpsee trail, where we traverse lush meadows, serene forests, and a stunning glacial lake. Winter: Our winter snowshoe hikes explore some of Switzerland’s most beautiful trails, with favorites including Engelberg Titlis, Langis, and Rigi. Each destination offers its own magic from peaceful, snow covered forests and open alpine meadows to breathtaking views. Since mountain weather can be unpredictable, we remain flexible and may adjust our route to ensure the best experience. Our priority is always selecting the safest and most rewarding trail for the day. Regardless of the chosen route, each hike unfolds as a picturesque adventure, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable landscapes throughout the approximately 3-4 hour trek. Enjoy the diversity of experiences as you traverse these stunning locations, each with its own unique charm and allure.
Lake Lucerne
After the hike, if the weather is good, we’ll head to the lake for a refreshing dip and some time to relax. The exact spot depends on the hike we choose that day. In case of bad weather, we’ll instead enjoy a cozy stop at a bistro. If needed, we can also make a quick stop at a supermarket on the way. This way, the day ends with a delightful and flexible experience, no matter the conditions.

An amazing but challenging hike (In a good way)

5.00As a visitor to Switzerland for the first time, I was desperate to experience the mountains up close. But I'm also scared of heights, so when I saw the hike that we were going on when we got to the location, I thought that there was no way I'd be able to do it but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't quite as scary as I thought. It was definitely challenging and uncomfortable at times but there were very few sheer drops next to us, which made it a more comfortable experience. In terms of ease, I'd say that I have basic fitness but the altitude and 30 degree heat on the day made the climb harder than it might have been on a cooler day. However, it is totally do-able, and will give tourists who want a more challenging hike, a really great experience. We even got to meet some mountain cows along the way, which was lovely. Advice: Take 2-3 bottles of water as I ran out half way up. Robbe was a really friendly guide and gave us great advice on walking techniques, which helped us get through the climb with ease and without injury. It was really interesting to come away with new practical walking skills. We were a little behind schedule after the hike which meant that we didn't get chance to swim but that was okay. the extra stops on the way up the mountain were more important to me. Robbe, also took lots of photos and videos that he sent on to us afterwards, which was really appreciated. In summary, definitely take this hike but take lots of water and be prepared to be challenged in a positive way.

5.00This hike was amazing. We couldn’t asked for a better guide. Robbe was prompt, accommodated food requirements, helped out on the hike when needed and answered all of our questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience!! We even saw mountain goats 🐐

5.00lt was a beautiful time with very beautiful sights. Our tour guide, Robbie was very kind and gave us the option on what we wanted to do. Took us to this beautiful glacier and lake afterwards. I would definitely come back and hike with them again

5.00Our guide, Robbe, was interested in making this expedition exactly what we wanted and what we were able to do. He was so nice, and caring, and he added to our experience by taking pictures and telling us a lot of information of what we were seeing. As a scientist, I was looking for rather unique, natural things, and Robbe really helped me to be successful! My expectations were met and exceeded.

5.00We couldn’t do hike in the Alps due to thunderstorms so Robbe called an audible and took us to Mt Rigi. The hike up was just the right level of difficulty if you are in reasonable shape, not too difficult but not too easy. The views were spectacular, and we had a nice simple picnic style lunch at the top provided by Robbe. After the hike we took a nice dip in Lake Lucerne to cool off. A great way to spend a morning/afternoon. Highly recommended.
