This is The Historic Triangle Tour. Travel with a local back in time and also in chronological order. We will spend the first part of our day in the 1600's and the second half in the 1700's. This is where the country began, you will see and learn history from a local. We start our day at Jamestown, the beginning 1607 with a guided tour. Our lunch stop will be next at the cafe which is owned by a local restaurant where we will have an included meal which can be colonial style if preferred. After lunch we travel into the 1700's with a battlefield tour and finishing up at the Revolutionary War Museum.

What To Expect
Jamestown Settlement
Jamestown is where the English arrived in 1607. We will learn about 1600's history in the first part of our day. We will have a 1 hour guided tour and 1 hour of free time.
Jamestown Settlement
Lunch will be at the cafe which is owned by a local family restaurant where we can have a colonial style meal or a more traditional meal if desired. Dietary options are available

4.00Because the Fed Govt was shut down, and there was rain much of the day, access to and experience of several outdoor sites was limited. The tour guide provided several stories to add context, background and meaning to sites.

5.00We’ve been in 50+ tours similar to this and can honestly say this was one of the best. Matt was amazingly knowledgeable and charming. The sites were incredible for two old farts that don’t remember their high school history on the Revolutionary War. A really fun and educational day. Thanks Matt.

5.00It’s absolutely the best tour I’ve ever been on. Matt is so knowledgeable of the area. You grow up in Virginia but learned a lot more than I ever knew about our history in Jamestown and Yorktown.
