This 7.5 hour guided tour - by LA-natives - is perfect for families, couples and all ages! Our routes are carefully curated to visit the most welcoming and visitor-friendly parts of Los Angeles. Discover the area’s most iconic sights and landmarks including Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Dr., the Beverly Hills sign, iconic Farmer's Market at the Grove, The Griffith Park Observatory for a perfect selfie of the Hollywood Sign; the Hollywood walk of fame Grauman's Theatre, The Kodak Theatre, Sunset Strip, celebrity spotting and much more. Entertaining, friendly, informative and hilarious guides! Hotel pick-up and drop-off available for select tour options. We have private tour options as well!

Please note: The Observatory is closed on Mondays and the Park is sometimes closed for filming so as an alternative the tour may go to Mulholland Drive and/or The Hollywood Bowl
If you chose a hotel pickup tour option please make sure to include your hotel name. Be aware you will be on the bus doing other hotel pickup for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
IMPORTANT: If you select a hotel, it must be within our guidelines. All other hotels are subject to cancellation.
Choosing the "Santa Monica Departure" ensures no wait time before the tour and also give you plenty if time to explore the Santa Monica Pier if you come early.
If you want to be on the same bus as a another group, please contact us immediately after submitting the booking.
Please contact us if you need a bus with a Wheelchair lift or have an ADA requirement.
North and East Hollywood pickups may be given an Uber Voucher to get home from the last stop
Seating is not pre-assigned but we attempt to get groups close together on the vehicle
Tours are in English only
Umbrella strollers that fold are acceptable, nothing larger that cannot fold
No luggage larger than a backpack is allowed on board and we do not store luggage

What To Expect
Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica is a beautiful city on the Beach where you can catch some sun and see where Forrest Gump jogged Route 66 to the Pacific! No trip to LA is complete without visiting it's stellar beaches. Arrive to our office early or depart the tour in Santa Monica if you want to walk down the pier - You'll have a great photo opportunity from the bus as well!
Venice Beach
See and explore the Venice Beach Boardwalk where you’ll see the birthplace of surfing, Muscle Beach, skate parks, stunning art murals, and the famous Venice Beach Canals!

Hollywood Meeting Point
Meeting Point Bus: This meeting point is subject to up to 1.5 hours of downtime on bus before tour but will not have any downtime at the end Pickup 8am: The pickup occurs at 8am. Please be ready by 8am sharp. The tour begins at 9:30 am. Meeting Point: This option DOES NOT include hotel pickup. It requires meeting at hollywood meeting point. Hollywood Departure: Meet street side on Hollywood Blvd. in front of LALA Land Souvenir by 8am sharp. The pickup is 1.5 hours prior to tour.
Santa Monica Meeting Point
Santa Monica Meeting Point: Avoid being on a hotel pickup bus! This is option is your best value and ensures the least amount of time spent on a bus. Benefits of Santa Monica Start: There is minimal downtime. The tour begins at 9:45 AM and we'll have you back by around 5:30 in time for a beach sunset. 5.00We had a fantastic experience with A Day in LA Tours on the Best of LA tour, including Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica, Venice, and Rodeo Drive and so so much more! The trip left on time, the pickup and drop-off location was easy and convenient, and we arrived back within the estimated time. Left at 7:30am sharp and arrived back at 6:10pm the Anahiem Garden location. The van/bus was very comfortable and had plenty viewing opportunities with the large windows. The sites were phenomenal, and the amount of time at each stop felt just right. Our driver, George, was very informative, helpful, and clear with communication throughout the entire trip. We booked with multiple children, and both the company and George were very accommodating, which made the experience even better for our family. We really enjoyed the tour and are so glad we went. I highly recommend A Day in LA Tours, and especially George!

4.00Transport provided from a set meeting spot included in the price which meant an early start as we then went on to pick up others - at times had to wait. Van was very comfortable and our official group driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and added to the enjoyment of the trip. Saw the main highlights of LA which was great and time given at each location to explore on foot - unfortunately at some not as long as needed. Understand though and this tour is a great taste for things/places you may like to come back to. Highly recommended.

5.00Great way to see LA, lots of different sites & attractions to see. But it was a bit of a long 6 block walk to see the Beverly Hills sign from where bus stopped.
