This 7.5 hour guided tour - by LA-natives - is perfect for families, couples and all ages! Our routes are carefully curated to visit the most welcoming and visitor-friendly parts of Los Angeles. Discover the area’s most iconic sights and landmarks including Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Dr., the Beverly Hills sign, iconic Farmer's Market at the Grove, The Griffith Park Observatory for a perfect selfie of the Hollywood Sign; the Hollywood walk of fame Grauman's Theatre, The Kodak Theatre, Sunset Strip, celebrity spotting and much more. Entertaining, friendly, informative and hilarious guides! Hotel pick-up and drop-off available for select tour options. We have private tour options as well!

Please note: The Observatory is closed on Mondays and the Park is sometimes closed for filming so as an alternative the tour may go to Mulholland Drive and/or The Hollywood Bowl
If you chose a hotel pickup tour option please make sure to include your hotel name. Be aware you will be on the bus doing other hotel pickup for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
IMPORTANT: If you select a hotel, it must be within our guidelines. All other hotels are subject to cancellation.
Choosing the "Santa Monica Departure" ensures no wait time before the tour and also give you plenty if time to explore the Santa Monica Pier if you come early.
If you want to be on the same bus as a another group, please contact us immediately after submitting the booking.
Please contact us if you need a bus with a Wheelchair lift or have an ADA requirement.
North and East Hollywood pickups may be given an Uber Voucher to get home from the last stop
Seating is not pre-assigned but we attempt to get groups close together on the vehicle
Tours are in English only
Umbrella strollers that fold are acceptable, nothing larger that cannot fold
No luggage larger than a backpack is allowed on board and we do not store luggage

What To Expect
Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica is a beautiful city on the Beach where you can catch some sun and see where Forrest Gump jogged Route 66 to the Pacific! No trip to LA is complete without visiting it's stellar beaches. Arrive to our office early or depart the tour in Santa Monica if you want to walk down the pier - You'll have a great photo opportunity from the bus as well!
Venice Beach
See and explore the Venice Beach Boardwalk where you’ll see the birthplace of surfing, Muscle Beach, skate parks, stunning art murals, and the famous Venice Beach Canals!

Santa Monica Meeting Point
Santa Monica Meeting Point: Avoid being on a hotel pickup bus! This is option is your best value and ensures the least amount of time spent on a bus. Benefits of Santa Monica Start: There is minimal downtime. The tour begins at 9:45 AM and we'll have you back by around 5:30 in time for a beach sunset. Hollywood Meeting Point
Meeting Point Bus: This meeting point is subject to up to 1.5 hours of downtime on bus before tour but will not have any downtime at the end Pickup 8am: The pickup occurs at 8am. Please be ready by 8am sharp. The tour begins at 9:30 am. Meeting Point: This option DOES NOT include hotel pickup. It requires meeting at hollywood meeting point. Hollywood Departure: Meet street side on Hollywood Blvd. in front of LALA Land Souvenir by 8am sharp. The pickup is 1.5 hours prior to tour.

Tour time: Tour time does not include the time of driving to and from Anaheim to LA Duration: 10 hours Hotel Drop Offs: Hotel drop-offs begin after the last stop in Venice Beach anywhere between 3 and 430 pm depending on traffic and day of week. 4.00The tour was informative the meet up was very easy with parking next door. We hit all the places I wanted to see. However I didn’t like the way the time was structured it was 30min here 45min there other than that it was a very good day.

5.00So informative and a great way to take it all in in a day! LA is huge and there is so much to see that this is the perfect way to get all the highlights in and plan to return for more time another day if you like. The stops were roughly 45 minutes so plenty to capture photos and a coffee or snack. The meal break at the Farmers Market was longer and we had a lovely sitdown meal and still had time to wonder. Our guide John made this experience the perfect first day in LA!

5.00We had an incredible experience with A Day in LA Tours! From start to finish, the tour was well organized, fun, and packed with amazing sights. Our guide, Ali, was absolutely fantastic and truly made the day memorable. There is no way we could have seen as much of Los Angeles as we did if we had tried to navigate it ourselves. Between the traffic, parking, and figuring out the best routes, we would have spent most of the day stressed and missing out on key attractions. Instead, we were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy everything LA has to offer while Ali handled all the logistics. Ali was knowledgeable, personable, and full of interesting facts and stories about the city. He did a great job balancing sightseeing with enough time at each stop to explore, take pictures, and enjoy the experience. What impressed us most was how great he was with our kids. He kept them engaged throughout the day, answered their endless questions with a smile, and made them feel included every step of the way. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but Ali made it easy and enjoyable for our whole family. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had seen all the major highlights of Los Angeles and learned so much about the city. This was easily one of the best experiences of our trip, and we would highly recommend A Day in LA Tours, and especially Ali, to anyone visiting LA. If you're looking to maximize your time, see the most attractions possible, and have a fun, stress-free day, this tour is absolutely worth it!

5.00I will pick up driver Michael was a joy to spend time with. He was entertaining and knowledgeable and had an incredibly positive attitude which got the entire bus rocking and rolling.. When we got on our tour bus our tour guide Key was incredibly customer focused, professional and a pleasure to listen too. From pick up to drop off everything was explained professionally and everything we were shown was enjoyable and fun. As a First time visitor to Los Angeles, there’s absolutely no way we could’ve packed in all the places we visited by doing it ourselves. Highly recommend.
