Great daytrip to Macau with excellent logistics and variety of sights. Going ober on the ferry and back by shuttle bus on the long bridge was interesting.

One of the highlights of our holiday. Our Guide Cisco was very friendly and funny and gave a great insight to the history and culture of Macau. The tour is varied and interesting and we never felt rushed. A must for anyone visiting Macau for the day.

Cisco was outstanding, very knowledgeable and personable . We had almost 20 people in the group- he was very clear on the time and expectations which made the tour go very smooth. Despite the fact that there is a lot of transit time between the ferry, buses and the locations the tour guide made it very pleasant. The buffet could have been better, the food was just ok and not hot at all.

The guide, Cisco made the tour worth every bit. He was very informative and interesting. I really enjoyed listening to him because he was also eloquent. However, I didn't not have a good experience with Yvonne the guide from Hongkong to the Macau ferry terminal. At first, I thought I was maybe reading to much but I noted from the start when I met her at our first meeting point, she was very abrasive and I didn't not understand where that came from. To top it off, when we were leaving Macau, I got derailed at the immigration and Yvonne was there telling me how they could no longer wait for me with the other guys we were with during the tour. Mind you this was not my fault. I expected that she'd have arranged for my dropped off but guess what, I was left to my devices. This was so frustrating to say the least because anyone booked for the tour matters and they should have anticipated for such eventualities, immigration delay in this case. I was pissed off because the bus I was trying to board back to the hotel couldn't accept my card and had to withdraw cash and all. After I was done with immigration, it took me two hours to get back to the hotel. Well, as you'd have guessed it, I didn't hear from Yvonne. I should not only matter when I'm paying but I should matter even at the end of my trip. I was so disappointed with Yvonne and her behaviour on that day. Would never recommend her.

Both Cisco and Yvonne were both very knowledgeable. We were well looked after and picked up from our hotel. The Portuguese influence showed Macao with cobblestone streets and European architecture. The trip also included the space needle, ruins of St Paul's and the Venetian casino all varied points of interest. This was a great experience but expect a long day. I can recommend going over by ferry and coming back by bus across the longest bridge in the world

A must do! Cisco was one of the best tour guides we have ever met. He made the tour fun, interesting and left us wanting more! From Tony who was the Hong Kong side tour operator and King our bus driver in Macau, this is definitely a must do.

I give this trip overall 3/5 stars. Our tour guide Cisco was excellent, so my lower rating is due to the trip overall and should not reflect on him. The first half of the day was pleasant, the ferry over went smoothly, and the first few stops on our tour were nice and not crowded. The "4-star" lunch was pretty mediocre, as many other people have noted. The food was cold and not a large variety. The second half of the tour was very crowded and stressful. There were thousands of people everywhere we went. The Ruins of St. Paul are almost completely covered by construction, and this was not mentioned to us at all. It was very disappointing that we couldn't see one of the main stops on the trip. The walk through the Ladies Market was hell, it's a narrow street completely packed with people we could barely walk. Why take us through there?? There was a lot of walking in the second half of the day so be warned if you aren't able to walk well. If you aren't into gambling, the trip through the Venetian was pretty pointless. Dealing with lots more crowds just to see shops, it's basically just like walking through a crowded airport. I would have liked more time to walk the main drag to see the outside of the casinos, like the Parisian, Londoner, etc. January was a good time to visit because the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. I wish the bus had phone chargers on board since we were on the same bus all day.
